Hey guys. So I take my LO for swimming once a week and the actually lesson is great, she's attentive, participates, enjoys the water. But as soon as I take her out and put her on the changing table, the crying starts and it's loud and uncontrollable and doesn't stop. I don't know what to do to stop her from crying.she stops when I pick her up but I am very aware that every minute she's wet, is a risk of her catching a cold. Its getting so bad that I'm actually considering stopping swimming. Any advice welcome!

Swimming lesson helppp
My little girl is like this if she gets hungry during swimming. I just dress baby and myself as quickly as possible so I can get her fed.
Sorry I have no advice, but your little one won't catch a cold by being wet. Colds are a virus x
She's probably just uncomfortable & letting you know about it. How old is she?
She's 6 months and this has been happening since she was 4 months. Thought it would improve with time but it's just getting worse if anything
Sometimes things get worse before they get better, hang in there & try and distract with snacks. Those kiddylicious wafers are probably a good one for her age. Hang in there hun xx
How old is your LO? I know this sounds strange but have you tried taking them swimming at a different time of the day to see if it happens? My little boy does the same when getting out the pool if I take him in the morning but if we go in the afternoon after swimming he’s fine, I think in the morning he gets to tired x
Distraction with a toy or food?
A hooded or poncho towel might help so you can wrap LO up but still have her hands free, then give her a snack, mine always took melty puffs. Get yourself ready first then her, also if she's sitting perhaps sit her on the floor rather than the changing table till you're ready to dress her. Wouldn't stop if she's enjoying it as much as you say she is.
