It's now 50 days since last period, took first test yesterday, came out positive. We're so excited we've been trying for 11 months since I took out my implant. It's my first pregnancy so not sure what to do now.

The next step is to get in touch with your midwife your gp surgery should give you the number to arrange a booking in appointment.

Congratulations on becoming pregnant! As lady mentioned above it’s about booking in now as your probably weeks past so need midwife for appointment then she will book you in for scan at preferred hospital if possible! Good luck and happy pregnancy x

Honey you are pregnant. Believe it! You don't need to see GP, contact your surgery's receptionist to refer you to midwifery services x
