What should I do

I went to the doctors as I got a positive pregnancy test! But I was bleeding! She took a blood sample and phoned me the next day to tell me it came back positive at a very low percentage but it was still a positive! But she thinks I could be miscarring so she told me I’ve to wait till next Monday it’s Wednesday today to go back and see if the percentage is any higher! So I’ve been sent home with no check up no nothing and am definitely pregnant what do I do ?

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do but wait. There's no check up that can be done... And if you are very early on even an ultrasound is unlikely to pick up anything. Unfortunately nothing can be done from stopping things if they are going to happen. So I'd wait and get your bloods tested again as suggested and then see what they say at that point. Waiting is frustrating I know but inevitable

So they can check to see if am misscarrying or not

But that what the bloods are for. If the level goes up then good news if it goes down its bad news. What kinda of check up were you hoping for?

Well there’s a chance am early on? Right and bleeding are you not supposed to be checked make sure everything is okay! Am not in any pain which is a good sign

Sadly all you can do is wait. And in complete honesty, it's only an early scan that will tell you what's going on. Yes blood tests measure the pregnancy hormone, and it may still go up even whilst miscarrying, sorry.

Scans can only be done at week 6 onwards bcos that's when the foetal pole (heart beat) can be detected and answers clearly whether pregnant or not.

There really is nothing they can do even if you are m/c :-(

It's a long wait I know,I had exactly this with my 2nd , no reason for it, and no answer to it either...happily, I have birth to my little boy number 2 in January.

I know exactly what you're going through, and that you second guess it every day; sit tight and wait for the scan. Good sign that no cramping etc xxxx

There is a chance ... I bled with my first and it turned out ok. Had a scan but was too early they couldn't see a heartbeat so had to wait 2 weeks and get scanned again. The thing is if ur level is very low because ur still v early an ultrasound is unlikely to show anything hence you'd still have to wait. I am not sure by what you mean to be checked... I'm not sure you do either

Bottom line waiting in any unfortunate inevitable problem with early pregnancy bleeds

They’ve probably tested your hcg levels which are supposed to double every few days. If the dr said it’s low compared to how far you are pregnant then it’s probably a miscarriage.

Unfortunately there’s nothing they can do but confirm or unconfirm with the hcg test.

We've lost 2 angels before this expecting our rainbow. When we lost our second baby, we were only 5 and a half weeks n I was told to go home and wait a week then take another test because they won't be able to pick a heartbeat up on an ultrasound until 6 weeks. It was agony waiting so I honestly know what you're going through. There is literally nothing you can do but wait.

Try not to stress yourself too much. With this pregnancy I had a period on 2nd of July for 2-3 days. Turns out I actually conceived end of July. If you are very early, it could be implantation bleeding. Thinking of you hun xx

When I had my first blood test done it was very low as well, and got told the same as you. I was abroad and had to wait to get back to the UK a week later to get another blood test done. This time it was alarmingly high (gone from 80 to 13000 within a week) and got sent to an emergency scan

I got told everything over 20 they see as a pregnancy but might not be a feasibly one. My first test was done in week 3. Good luck for tomorrow it should double by each week
