Itching on top of fingers

Hello Everyone,

I am 39 weeks and 5 days pregnancy and since last night I have itching on top of fingers. Do I need to worry about it?

Not sure what is it ?

Hi Hun this sounds like blood increase I had this , but do ring the midwife or epu and tell them your symptoms! All the best Hunni xx

You need to call the antenatal day unit. If you don't have one call the labour ward. Someone will probably want to see you today. More than likely its nothing and just down to the weather but itching does need to be checked out.

It has been known that higher bile acids can be the reason. Do apply a good calming moisturiser as whatever the cause dry skin is itchier than non dry.
