6weeks 2 days and my symptoms have gone over the last two days.

Hi, I am 6wks and two days pregnant and have taken 2 preg tests, both positive. I took the test because of little signs, and that “gut feeling”. Since taking the test on the 01.12.17 I have felt nauseous early morning and have had waves of it throughout the day, my nipples have also been sensitive. The last two days I haven’t really felt nauseous and my nipples don’t appear to be sensitive..... I have been reading the internet like mad, which is probably not the best thing to do! I should probably enjoy this whilst it lasts, but now I am worried? Anyone else had this or have any advice?!

Symptoms often come and go so try not to worry, the wait until the 12 week scan seems a long time doesn't it!

As long as you're not bleeding you should be fine, if you're really worried then wait a few more days and take another hpt, our daughter did a few during the first few weeks for this exact same reason!

She's 13 weeks now and everything was fine at the 12 week dating scan. She's still getting some nausea on and off. Good luck xx

Hi, thank you so much for your quick response! I am really grateful! I feel like I am over reacting, but I have all sorts going around in my head! Nothing bad like bleeding or cramping, so I’m sure everything is fine and I should be happy, and not worried, I should be making the most of it! I did take a second test on Thursday evening and that was positive! I am just a worrier!

Oh good news!!! It's perfectly understandable to worry in the first few weeks though so don't worry about worrying 😉

Your body is doing what it does best, try to enjoy the break in symptoms, I'm sure they'll be back soon enough and if not then you're one of the lucky ones!

I had 4 children and with the 3rd one I had no symptoms at all, I even bled each month. One day I found a lump which scared me to death, I went to see my GP who told me she thought I might be a few weeks pregnant, she sent me for a scan and it turned out I was over 16 weeks, both the GP and I were shocked, I was still in my size 12 jeans lol! She was born healthy and is now 32 years old.

Every pregnancy is different and individual for you, that's why googling doesn't help, just try and relax and the 12 week scan will be here before you know it! Happy Christmas xx
