Back pain / sciatica

Hello, does any one have any tips for easing back pain and sciatica during pregnancy. I am currently just over 32 weeks pregnant and suffering really bad with sciatica at the top of my right buttock. Resulting in me currently being off work. I have a hot water bottle on it most nights, and Midwife mentioned referring me to the physio’s but said the waiting list could be a few weeks. Any tips or help would be much appreciated

When I have had sciatica in the past I have found that swimming has helped- not butterfly though as that antagonised it even more (although that is possibly just me). Sometimes I even just walk up and down the pool.
