I would email Philips and ask which microwaves are compatible.

I've got a zannussi microwave which I use my tommee tippee microwave steriliser in. I'd imagine all microwave sterilisers are a similar size. 😊 xx

I would say you compare the dimensions of your sterilizer with that of the microwave. You can check online, shops usually put the measurements in the product details

Thank you! We've purchased 3 now and brought them all home but the stereliser hasn't fit! Grrrr. I'm tempted to walk into the shops with the steriliser!

I would absolutely do this!! You're looking to buy a microwave that will accommodate your steriliser - get the salesman to find you one...easy sale for them and you'll be happy 😊!!!!xx

Found one! Its a Kenwood one currently on offer at Curry's! And yes, I walked round the shop with the steriliser. The new stereliser in the pack we got is bigger than the previous stereliser!

This post made me smile because my poor hubby had to take two microwaves back to Argos due to this!

However after all the faffing I found out that if you are using the steriliser for breast milk related stuff only you actually only needed to use hot soapy water so I didn't even need a steriliser! Which can only cost me £6 in aldi! We had the avent one too. Anyway we did find one that fit in the end it's a morphy Richards one x

Really?!! I wish someone had told me this 10 months ago! My hands have aged about 50 yrs from all the sterilising and it is all breastmilk! Where did you find this information?

I can't remember where I first found out now! But since having my baby I've done a peer supporter course and think we covered it on that too. It's hard to find on google but it may have been from the le leche or bfn webpages somewhere. It's only if you use formula everything must be sterilised.

With breast pumps if you use multiple times a day, store in the fridge in a zip lock bag and just wash every 24 hours too x

Also apparently the UK is one of a few countries to sterilise stuff. I have read that if you don't wash something properly sterilising won't do anything anyway. and if you think you don't sterilise your boobs :) x
