We have finally decided after 20 months that we do.in fact want another baby and a LOT of thought has gone in to.it, just wondered how long it had taken people to fall pregnant once they'd come off cerelle, was previously one cerazette but im told cerelle is the same just new name so.not sure

Coming off cerelle
My husband and I decided to stop taking cerazette (as my packet said but if it's the same thing . . .) and use condoms until I'd had two normal periods (my usual regularity). We then started trying and have found out that I am eight weeks pregnant. So it took two months of 'trying time' although I've actually only had three periods since coming off that pill.
However this is our first child, so maybe bodies react differently?
Don't know if that helps. Good luck!
Thanks for replying, I came off the depo injection.just before Christmas and started on the pill, I was on the depo before.my first was born and took a year to conceive but I didn't have periods at all on that. Cerelle however I've bled quite often, might be worth me getting ovulation tests just to check, and yes I was told they don't make cerazette anymore, I was disappointed as I always got on well with it before and the cerelle has been totally different despite apparently being the same
I came off Cerazette in October, regular cycle returned within a month/six weeks and I found out I was pregnant in February. I read some real horror stories about coming off this particular type of pill but I didn't have any problems at all, though I'm aware that in this (as with everything), everyone is different!
Hope this helps, good luck!
Thanks, not thought about the injection until today, ran out in December time so.hopefully doesn't have the same effect it did last time! We've been.undecided since my first was born and now don't want a massive gap!
When I came off cerelle it took me three weeks to get my cycle back, then three months to conceive. However, with previous child, after coming of the depo, bled quite often and took a year to conceive the same. So I would say it's not the cerelle to be worried about, only the depo you was on just before Christmas, however that's been a while ago, so hopefully it should take you no time at all! all the best
I came on a few days ago which feels like a 'normal period' (period pains and the usual which o haven't had since before the injection) so hopefully won't have to wait too.long! Thanks for replying, I hope the injection doesn't last too! Definitely think it's something they should warn you about before you have it, I only found out how long it can last when I was reading online after the first time I'd had it!
They didn't mention it to me either, my first took two weeks to conceive, then my second baby after the depo was a year of unexpected frustration and tears. Definitely should highlight that risk, especially to women who have a family they haven't finished.
Yeah I think.it's unfair they don't, I only went back on it as we thought we didn't want another, just hoping it hasn't had lasting effects
Still off the pill and still no luck, my depo should have run out last month if it lasted a year so hopefully this could be our month!
I was on cerazette till
January stopped it and hadn't period. By February I was pregnant ! So hopefully it will go
Quickly for you too!!
Been 7 months so far but hopefully not much longer! I know there's people that wait a lot longer but I'm getting impatient!
