We decided to try and conceive in June 2016. I had been on the pill and had the implant for a total of 7/8 years due to bad periods. I found out we were pregnant in October. Unfortunately we miscarried and found out again we were pregnant in April 2017, a few days later we lost our second baby. We decided to try again and found out we were pregnant for the third time end of July and I'm currently 30+5 weeks with our rainbow boy.

I'd have your first period then maybe start trying so your body can try and get back to 'normal' and you have a bit more of a guidance if you do conceive of how far you'll be. Some people it can take a while but it took me 4 months.

I downloaded an app called Flo. You could track your period, when you had unprotected sex and told you when you should be ovulating xx

Sorry to hear about your losses must be heart breaking šŸ˜£ xx il download the app thankyou and the thing is I don't know when my period shud be as I have always been on contraception as I suffered from heavy painful periods as a teenager?

It is hun. I like to think they chose their brother especially for us to bring into the world. My first one was strange but by the time my second period came my body got back to normal.

Period and pregnancy symptoms are so similar! I had implantation bleeding that I classed as a period with this pregnancy so I didn't even know I was pregnant. I only did a test to rule out as my symptoms had lasted well over a month even after my 'period'.

I had painful periods too which is why I was on it. I was forever having days off school and college because it crippled me. The app was quite helpful with keeping track of everything. In the end though we actually conceived when I was at my lowest point of ovulation.

Fingers crossed for you! Xx

Hiya, I experience the same after coming off the implant in november. After a couple of weeks I then had a period that lasted 4 days then nothing. I had the same symptoms. However, you can easily mistaken these symptoms to your body and hormones adjusting. It's wise to wait until your missed period to then take a test. I tried taking a test for 3 weeks after my period had stopped after those 4 days. It turns out that I was 1-2 weeks pregnant. I am now 4 weeks and 3 days šŸ˜Œ if you are very unsure then I advice you to book in with your GP

I guess il just have to wait.... it's so annoying as I really want to conceive! Friggin hormones!!

Time will take it's course. Just keep trying like i did. I started to get so frustrated when it kept coming up negative. When I saw my first faint line I thought I was going mad ! Finally got to see both positive tests with clear blue. Was so happy ! It will happen just keep at it x

Thank you hun i appreciate your replies x and I will do xx

I stopped the pill 1st may and had my first period 31st may. My cycles were 23 days for 2 months then 24 then 25 then I got pregnant but miscarried at 12 weeks šŸ˜¢ so trying again now hopefully not take too long. Think your body might need to adjust or you could be pregnant but youā€™ve tested too early šŸ¤žšŸ¼

I came off the pill around November time, same pill cerelle and I'm still trying to conceive. Had 3 periods since and still nothing and constant negative tests. I've just started taking folic acid as it can help when trying to conceive. I also was on the pill for heavy long periods, I hope you conceive soon as I hope I do too! You're in the same boat as me!xxx

My boobs have been hurting and sensitive since like almost two weeks ago, and same here, my periods due the 17th round about then anyway, they're messed up since coming off cerelle. Last 3 days I've had metallic taste, it won't go away but I've tested negative twice now, once last week and this week I tested yesterday morning and still negative... it's so strange. I started taking folic acid this week so hopefully it helps in whatever way it can! Xxx

I came off the pill in April 2016, we started trying in June 2016 after Iā€™d had two cycles to allow my body to find its rhythm and so I could work out rough ovulation dates. Symptoms were awful! I get painful periods too. It then took us 6 mths to get pregnant. We lost that baby at 11weeks 2days. I then waited for my first period after that (beginning of April 2017) and we started trying again. Got pregnant on my August cycle and currently 25weeks 5 days with our rainbow. The waiting is frustrating but take care of yourself, track your periods and ovulation with an app (I used Ovia) and try not to stress as that can delay periods and also affect baby if you do get pregnant. For ovulation testing try afternoon/evening urine or test twice a day until you get a clear positive. I used Poundland strips. If youā€™ve got a short cycle start testing from about day 9 or if itā€™s around 28 days or longer try testing from day 12. Donā€™t get too obsessed though - I got pregnant both times when we just stopped ā€˜tryingā€™ and relaxed a bit. Good luck! Xx

Hey there!

Hope you are fine. The symptoms you described may be effects from coming off the pill. I'm talking about the spotting, tender breasts and mood swings. It is not a worrisome situation if you haven't had AF yet. Most women get it after a month of stopping a pill. I've heard of a case where the women had AF after two months of stopping the pill. It depends on your body type. Don't worry! Keep your symptoms in check though. Incase of any suspicion, consult your ob/gyn.

Good luck!
