How long should cramping last!!?

Hi, I've been having light cramping for about a week now, I found out I'm pregnant on Monday. I just wondered how long should the cramping last!? Also at what stage did anyone get implantation spotting? Trying not to freak out!!!

I had cramping for a couple of weeks but I started bleeding day after I missed my period (I done a test 4 days before due date) and bled for a month or more I can't remember now! And I bled for a day when my period was due a few months later...ur body is ajusting new hormones flying about just take it easy try not to worry too much xx

When you bled was it heavy or light? Mine's heavier than I would expect it to be. I'm fearing the worst now!

I cramped for about 2 weeks, sometimes I swear my period was coming they were so sore. I had no bleeding at all. It's hard as I felt quite abandoned at this stage as your midwife hasn't seen you but use this forum. I asked the same and have asked so much more and found it so helpful.

Thanks guys, I ended up going to Dr as it's gotten heavier over the course of the morning. He basically said it could either be normal or a sign of miscarriage but I'm too early to send for a scan to check. I've got to take it easy and try not to worry (almost impossible!!) I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling totally alone! I have faith it will all be ok, it's all I can do right now

The doc should be able to measure you hcg levels and if they are rising or falling. Do you have a community midwife, perhaps ask her if you do.

Ask them to take blood and measure your HCG levels, mine were at 60,000 when I was 7 weeks but everyone is different.

With my 3rd pregnancy I started spotting brown blood then it turned heavy and I was changing my pad about 4 times a day. You will stress out about it but it happens to more people than you think.
