How old is you baby how much does he/she weigh and how does she feed or eat? I thought this would be a good topic for us mums to chat about.

my boy is 9 months 21 pounds takes about 20ml milk in twenty four hours and three small meals fruit /veg puree rice yogurt or rusk he doesn't have teeth so struggles with lumpy or finger foods though he does have fruity bits in his yogurts he has no special needs or reflux,and was born at 38 weeks normal birth 7lbs.

My little boy is 8 months, was breast fed until 6 months. He has 3 meals a day of anything and everything- he has same as us where possible. Loves chomping on finger foods and we only used purees for the first week but went straight to 'normal' foods. Still breast feeding 3 or 4 times a day. He was born at 40+9 traumatic birth weighing 9lb 6oz x

My little girl is 5.5 months. Today I dropped my last breastfeed. So she has 5 bottle feeds a day of 5-6oz. And I'm just starting weaning with a little puree this week at 10am ish. Which she wolfed down 2 ice cubes of pear mixed with baby rice. This wkend I'm getting highchair out of lift to try the baby led weaning.

She was born 38 +3 very traumatic birth by emergency c-section under general. Weighing 5lb 11oz.

My lo is 6 n half months was born at 40+3 7lb 7oz. She was ebf till 4months when I could no longer keep up n then went onto formula. We weaned early at just after 5 months due to appetite. She now has 3 lumpy meals a day and some finger food and has woolfed down anything given to had one scare as turns out she is allergic to egg no breathing difficulty but purple rash and a lot of sick very scary! She has 4 bottles a day 7oz in morning and mid afternoon and 8oz at bed she also has a 6oz bottle with lunch which we are looking to drop at 7 months as she rarley has more than half. She is normal weight in the 25th centile just hurgry girl.

Hi my lo is 5 wks old, born by emergency c- section weighing 9,11oz.. He feeds every 3-4 hours taking between 4-5 oz, he now weighs 11,6oz x

My little girl is 6 months 5 days but quite dinky, she weights about 13lb 9. She has 6 breastfeeds in the day & then on demand through the night plus 3 meals a day of baby rice & pureed fruit/veg/meat. Sometimes also a teeny bit of our food for pudding e.g. Nibble of my banana or taste of my yoghurt etc. Don't understand how she is so little & eats so much! Not ridiculous amounts coming out the other end either I think she must have hollow legs.

wow very interesting ! the reason I started this topic is I know how us mums worry about our children not /drinking eating enough or how they are measuring up on the scales,I have started giving our baby lumps in his food this week and he is sitting crawling rolling and creating general havoc in the lounge since six/seven months old now.I did combination BF with a formula top up till 4 months then he went on a BF strike after that so it was formula and bottle,I weaned at 5 months with a bit of rusk first then purees of carrots apples bananas etc.I give him a little cows milk in porridge and he likes yogurts too .Im going to try him on good old bread and butter soon as my other boys loved it!
