Is this norm?

My lo is 6 n a half weeks and my post birth bleeding had pretty much stopped (occasional small spot) but over the last 4 days its started again not loads like a period but seems the more I do I.e. walking exercise etc the more I bleed sorry forthe tmi but its bright red and quite watery sometimes with a few small clots in the toilet is this norm? X

Hi Louise87, I had a very similar situation. I had a c-section although this makes no difference to post partum bleeding.

Post 6 weeks and about 8 weeks when bleeding stoppedI started swimming again. All was well until one session I seriously over did it with a session very similar to those I did before I was pregnant. The next day I started bleeding again although no clots. It lasted a good 4 to 5 days and I knew it wasn't my period as I'd already had it. I went to GP who requested swabs which all came back normal.

My GP put it down to doing too much but I'd probably suggest you get checked xx
