Hi. I am sorry to ask another bleed question however my anxcieties are killing me. My husband and I had Mc jan 13. I am now 8.3/40 wks. Today I bled after going to the loo backend saw blood. I had midwife app today 1st one and told her. She said dont worry as it can happen. Almost 9hrs later passed some stale looking blood compared to a.m bleed which was pink. Any one with simular exp or advice. Stressing out and worried.

If u meant ur vagina then yes it does happen but shouldn't and u should of been sent for a scan. ..x

Hi ixes.i know how you feel.i had bleedings that started in first trimester.i've lost gush of pink blood but had no pain at all.then two weeks later gush of brown blood which was old blood.after that i had spotting on few occasions.every time i went to the hospital unless it was little bit then just saw gp.i found my midwife useless.she never answered her phone and made few misteakes so i changed her.when i told her about bleeding or opearation i had at 7weeks pregnant, she didnt seem bothered.of course you gonna worry and feel scared!you dont need your midwife to act like nothing happened.i was glad i went to baby early unit or a&e as it was sunday because they checked me over and i felt reassured.firstly they've done blood tests, urine sample, cervix if it wasnt open, baby's hb.I have no answers why i bled as my results were ok(just higher level of white cells but antibiotics helped).do you have any pain?i think you should ring your hospital a call and maybe they'll investigate.i know sometimes you have to lie to be seen...i had to do it when the receptionist said its not emergency when i had pink pad...i lied that i had pains.she had to give me an appointement then.and lucky i've been seen as i had bacterial vaginosis.i'm 27weeks now and had no bleeding for couple of months.hope that will reassure you a little bit.try rest as much as you can, dont do any housework,no lifting and ring your dr or hosp.just for peace of mind.hope everything will be ok hunny xx

Like Babymother said it could be piles as well.i was so embarassed once as i had a pink stain on my pants and it turned up it was from my bottom.but my gp didnt realise lol and sent me for some tests.i knew after a while as i remembered that i was constipated earlier and struggling to go toilet x

I have had a very similar experience to you. I had bleeding at 10wks, 11wks and then again at 17wks. I went to epu every time to get checked out, called the midwife line and they arranged it. Every time baby is fine and tests came back clear. It is so stressful every time it happens and no amount of people telling me 'you're just going be someone that bleeds during pregnancy' staves off my concerns until I have seen that my baby is ok. I am now just over 20wks. I hope all is ok with you. J

Can't believe the midwife just brushed it off! Should always get checked out hope you have some better answers today! X

Hi

I think midwives should be a little more accomodating they seem so rushed and atvtimes unsure of what to do. 1st midwife said they do not do refs to epu. Today another midwife saud they can as to reassure parents. All a bit confusing as NHS website said they can, so dies preg notes...hhhhaaarrggggg any ways moving forward...

. I contacted epu today and have app for 2morrow a.m. They requested ref letter from midwife or gp... I told a lil porkypie and was offered an app today. Hope all is well with you all bumps included. Will let you know how fings work out. Fingers xd I am not rumbled and I get scan done. Desperate and trying to be calm..

2 weeks ago I went out for a meal and went to the toilet and looked at my pad and it was covered in pink liquid which I thought was weird. I rang the hosp where I got for my AntiD injections and they said to go to A&E to get reffered up to them as any discoloured loss needs to be checked out. I had an internal and everything seemed fine. Just better get it checked out. Ring the hosp and ask to speak to the Antinatel ward and they might as you to go in. Dont bother with your community midwife she sounds as rubbish as mine.
