Hi ladies, was admitted to hospital yesterday because of a bleed which had continued on and off. Currently v much on, baby seems ok I'm getting some cramping. Anyone have any happy stories of similar situations for me. I really don't want my baby born yet, still want it safe inside me xx

Bleeding at 30 weeks
My friend had really heavy bleeding, bright red blood at a similar time to you and was admitted to hospital for monitoring. The bleeding stopped eventually and she stopped work then to just rest as much as she could (she has a five year old too) so probably wasn't as restful as it should have been! All was well and she now has a fab two year old running riot!
I know it's really scary but stay calm (easier said than done I know) and just have complete bed rest. Her baby was delivered early but with no complications. Good luck and try to think positive and happy thoughts.
Your best bet would be to ask these questions to your midwife or nurses as they would have the experience in this. However, not all bad people do bleed and aslong as its not a heavy bleed then you don't have nothing to worry about. I have read some people have their periods throughout their pregnancy and they have no idea that they are pregnant which is rather bizarre! I hope all goes well for you Hun xx x
sorry no advice but I really feel for you being stuck on a ward looking at curtains and worrying. Really hope it all settles down soon for you and you can go home to rest. best wishes xxx
I had a similar experience when I went into labour - I was terrified as there was so much blood suddenly one night & even the midwife was worried. But a few hours later I had a gorgeous healthy girl . As I have always had very painful periods they thought it might be something to do with that. But basically it wasn't a sign of anything going wrong which was what worried me at the time.
