I'm sure I've mentioned many times that I'm 'going to pass my day doing some 'scrap-booking'.
I did that again yesterday and it's a fun and absorbing way to spend some time, but my goodness it makes a mess and is more trouble than imagined to collect the right images to make a page.
It's wonderful having the internet as a resource as I can take almost any image online and save it, print it and adapt it for my use, and I also keep a big range of materials to hand like old books, magazines etc., and all kinds of embellishments from bows, to buttons to... well... almost anything that will lie flattish in a book.
I thought it might be fun to share one of my pages with you all to show you the sort of silly thing I am up to. I've shared my latest, over the weekend, page with the Care Community so here's another on the topic of a Teddy Bear's Picnic. I hope you think it's fun and makes you giggle.
I hope that some of you will be able to enjoy the little freedoms gained in England today, but that you'll all continue to take care and stay safe.
Have a great week!

That’s lovely Sue! I agree, it absorbing getting creative. I had a day yesterday of getting creative with some acrylic paints and totally lost track of time😊You have a good week too and you never know we might some of the promised sunshine!
Oh thats beautiful - remember that the pics online have been trademarked by the original people who took them -The pics sometimes mentions who took them
Hi Sara_2611, the lovely thing about scrap-booking is that I don't share them with anyone but me really, so no problem with the copyright thing and there's always fair usage to cover that! But yes, a good reminder to be careful with what you share publicly!
I only took it up again recently Catgirl1976 and it's quite different to do now with so many resources easily available. I remember back in the late 50s and early 60s buying packs of flowers and scenes to be used in our scrapbooks, or mum would donate us magazine pages etc. Maybe if you are at a loose end any time, you could try it again. It's a great way to while away some time!
Love how you artistically expressed your teddy themed picnic. Scrap booking or putting a collage together is a fun and creative outlet. I used to do fashion themed collages on a website back in the day.
I love it Sue and I'm calling it 'Teddy Bear's Picnic'. I can imagine it's a lot of fun.🌈🧸😊
Oh Sue, I love it. Used to do it years ago. It's taken a lot of thought from you to put this together. Thank you Lots of love and hugs Lynne xxxx ❤️🤗💜🤗
