Further to my post re head bumps and soreness, i sent an e-consult and my GP who, same day phoned for a discussion and i am to attend the surgery this afternoon, first time for a consultation in a whole year.
My respiratory consultant had written to me and we are to have our next appointment via phone in July, not looking good for the summer then?

Hi Sops, glad to hear you've found a way forward with this. Don't feel too gloomy about your summer appointment. We just don't know how long or how many restrictions we'll be living with this year, so I suppose its sensible for now to assume that your next summer appointment will have to be over the phone. It's as easy to change it to a physical one if that proves to be possible, as vice versa so it doesn't mean we will definitely not be able to have physical appointments when summer comes. But I'm really pleased that your e-consult went well. As you know I'm a bit of a fan of them!
Thsnk you Jerry, it was all handled well, I was the only person in the surgery and saw my GP immediately. Was interested to note he was wearing scrubs as well as masked. He thinks i have a fungal infection on my ear, neck and back of head. A prescription was transmitted to my chemist and I then phoned the Shielding line so a collection of my medication should be delivered today by an NHS responder.Very pleased with service.
I have today received a newsletter from the IOW hotel where i stay, saying they hope soon to be open for business, i am not so sure of that! My last year booking for July is transferred to this year, but whilst I would have confidence in the hotel, I would still have to get there by(probably crowded)
Ferry which worries me, so staying put as yet.can transfer to2022 if all else fails
