I was never meant to be a Domestic Goddess but since having osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia everything is difficult but cleaning the bathroom is my least favourite task. Find cleaning the shower which is large a particular chore. I think my husband thinks it all cleans itself by magic. Now he has to vacuum he huffs and puffs about it and needs tons of praise afterwards.x

I've osteoarthritis too and it's not fun doing the cleaning, your hubby has it made if he only does the hoovering.

I can only do the washing up now, because I can sit in my highchair at the kitchen sink

Yes, I have to say I’m a perfectionist, I have my own routine washing the least dirty stuff first, then wiping up and putting away, then cleaning the sides down...... listening to opera as I go!

I listen to music too it does help.

That's the way to do it no point washing clean stuff like glasses in dirt water I like to drip dry my pots hate tea towels on them I used to work in kitchens we were told to drip dry my mam stands the mugs on upside down and the suds go on the rim I hate that I like my rinsed strange how we all have our own ways, you may find this post amusing I've added some funny pictures and the funny gang have joined in night night 🤗💛💫🌹🌛🌟xx

Jimtom He does do the ironing as well but it takes him 4 times longer than it would me. 2 have learnt to make what laughingly call "executive decisions" as to what we don't need to iron. I tendto wear alot of acrylic things now as as long as you get them out of the dryer straight away and hang them up most dont need ironing.

He does do the occasional meal, but it is all the smaller things he tends to forget that take up time and energy. We have a little cupboard in the bathroom for toilet rolls and I always have to be the toilet roll fairy which is a bind as they have to be kept in the utility which you have to go outside to get to. Drawing the curtains at night etc etc. My friend says the same. Mind you have always been too independent for my own good as I hate asking for help which is stupid really but just part of my nature.x

Still in training. Been about 10 years now for the vacuum cleaning and about 7 for the ironing I can't a very good trainer, lol. I wonder whether they do it all wrong on purpose so they will never be asked again?

I find that anyone's husband who has been in the forces is marvellous at ironing probably as their uniforms always had to look immaculate.

Hi actually I quite like it as like the after effect lol not keen on dusting or loos tho I'm allergic to dust and polish, I find hoovering good exercise depends on if I've any aches n pains tho back and hands knee nothing major and occasional oven cleaning not good for any of them, I don't like clutter but it can build up a bit then I'm right need to get rid I find cleaning better in a home that feels right and is nicely done newer not old grotty tiles n paintwork 😁

That's me crazy for sure I have gone COVID crazy 😁😁actually like washing windows I have a special thing window cleaners use, just bowl hot water splash of washing up liquid wash on with cloth then use the window wiper tool not sure tools right word lol dry cloth any water on sill wonderful effect 😁😁happy days

I'm getting early night tonight park yesterday did me good and been stearn sometimes people don't realise how they are being and to be honest when I had rats I did go on about it a lot it nearly drove us both mad when mam had her heart attack that year it stopped me thinking about it and I want too botherred then I can't face going back home I feel sick inside I was there yesterday and today a bit doing some washing in the sink as the waters not going in washer but my builders who moved it's coming and look at loft weekend, so things are moving on I guess I just have to get on with it I would feel better if loft was done then it be like a different house although I had black Beatles that had nested in there they got trapped in somehow them flying things rain Beatles there were baby's a giant spider cleaned up and I saved some that flew on window sill were dying I saved a few big ones overcame fears and put at bottom garden one was half dead I gave it some water lol I hated having to have the rats killed my house it haunted with bad memories xx

Hoovering 🙈 .. hard work especially up the stairs. Cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the windows etc etc .. in fact, there is nothing I like about housework ! Terrible obsession with altering the position of furniture, swapping things around. Really irritates my family .. even turn my bed around to different parts of the room about twice a week .. obsession !

Me and mam are obsessed with moving furnicture we got bad back so wonder why recently moved her sette and chair was my idea was going to do one in other room her idea and table I said it will end up getting moved back didn't look right before, 😁xx

I love cleaning mirrors, to see them gleam is great. I hate everything else, ironing prob my worst job although since retiring I don’t really need to do that anymore, I buy clothes that don’t need ironing, my hubby irons his own shirts when he needs to, I make too much of a mess with them 🙄, method in my madness lol. Xx

I just love putting the dishes in the dishwasher 👍. Ironing is something I just hate.

I like cleaning a clean house means a better mind I feel so much less anxious when house is tidy the worse thing is when I'm too ill to do it .I follow a lot of cleaning influencers and the folding lady lol but I don't iron way to many people to look after for that wouldn't have the time family of 6 here x

It is getting going that is the worst but once stuck in . Don't like changing beds . Always get in a fight with the duvet cover,.

Duvets are a right pain! I'd forgotten about them..
