Quietness in the horse world is not pathologic. The finest and most expereinced riders and i have known world class (which i am not claiming to be) are extremely quiet like zen- ........we know how to calmly lower our energy aroudn horses.......before we work with them. and when we work aroudn them. Normal in our world. Dr can be idiots

I have hundreds of horses and students under my belt compared to

zero hours by so called

being senstife is prized in horses

seen as abby norla in the human world

their ignorance

not my problem.

beig very very very quiet........is not ab noral but allows horses who are very sestive

to relax as we take infinit amount of time and pateinde in workging around thime

Hi Brig57, As you clearly know from great experience, you can get the best from horses by being calm and quiet around them. I think that applies to many people too. I feel much better when someone approaches me in a cool and quiet way and doesn't burst upon the scene in a rowdy fashion. Sometimes quiet people are made to feel inadequate by the party crowd, but each person is of value. If you have a quiet nature, you can feel as though you are being overlooked, and lost in a crowd of boisterousness. But there's no need. If you look at a ball of wool which is multi-coloured, close up, its strands can be bright and obvious or subtle, but all contribute to what becomes, from a further distance a more harmonious looking colour and in fact it's often the subtler shades which dominate the whole. I think that's true with people too. 😊
