Me too!πŸ˜€ xx

Sounds like a perfect way to relax Jimtom! I very seldom use alcohol.... I just stopped liking it as I got older, so my perfect drink is a cup of scalding hot Yorkshire tea! Sounds boring but works for me..... 😊

Dear Jimtom,

Well today is Saturday.... and with my Dinner, a 'Hottie'- from my freezer- I had.... A Glass of.... Pepsi!

I'm Not 'Teetotal' but I don't 'Drink' much, it doesn't Mix Well with my Medication. I CAN however Drink a 'Little' so, the Odd Glass of Wine, or a Beer.....talking, of which, I've just Poured myself a 440ml can of 'Rose Cider', alcohol 4%. If my Maths is correct, that is 4.4 ml of Alcohol and I might even have One 'other', this week. (that makes, just 'shy' of 9 millilitres, of alcohol.... in a week, as I said NOT quite Teetotal.)

There are, quite a lot, of no/low alcohol Drinks these days and indeed some of them are GOOD too!

So Vocationally YES, not necessarily on Saturday though.

Good morning Andrew after falling over pixie after been somewhat slightly intoxicated last year during first lockdown I decided to stop at least for a while and started drinking non alcoholic becks lager, red wine and rose then I decided I may be ok and not fall over pixie so tried mixing the non alco wine with alcoholic as I find wine too strong,me and pixie both went flying downstairs the other week with no alcohol as he cought my foot on top stair, I didn't fall just managed to run really quick and hold on pixie did I flying leap hes a good leaper thank goodness, he's always under our feet and if I had had alcohol then I think may not have had safe landing,I'm on a break from it now due to recently having bit too much, cocoa and chamomile tea now hey my sister painted her cat😊she's going to paint pixie, I paint but have no oil paints xx

For the first time ever, I’m on a nearly dry January. I’ve found some great cider @ 0.5% which I have a glass of 3 or 4 times a week at most. Soft drinks such as Fentimans on the other evenings. Really pleased it’s going so well. Might carry on into February.

β€’ in reply toRosepetal60

Hello Jimtom

I drink a semi-dry red wine which changes depending on what I want to try.

β€’ in reply toBig_Dee

Always wine?

Big_Dee profile image
Big_Deeβ€’ in reply to

Hello Jimtom

Mostly wine, which I started drinking years ago for anti-oxides. In the summer when it is hot I might drink some beer or as you call it light lager?

β€’ in reply toBig_Dee

Yes, lager.

It's nice to have a glass or two.

I was advised not to have any alcohol with the meds I take. Very occasionally, on a special occasion, a small glass of wine. I have given up Pina Coladas..my favorite. So homemade iced tea, a cup of hot tea or iced water.

β€’ in reply toGisygirl

What's in a pina colada?

Gisygirl profile image
Gisygirlβ€’ in reply to

1 ounce dark rum
