Love Midsummer Murders( awful I know). My current fave is Inspector Montalbano - when it's on. And I love the old Corries on ITV 3. Worst? Reality shows like towie, etcπ±π°
Favourite: The X-Files. This show changed my life, helped me through a terrible time, took me to America three times, taught me an amazing amount and remains the only thing I have ever been obsessed by. I was lucky enough to meet Chris Carter, (who created the show,) and to be able to thank him. ππΈ
Lovely post Marnieπ
I like any TV shows with Pilking in.......π€ͺπΈ
I loved Morse, Endeavour, Cracker, The X files, Porridge, Only Fools and Horses, The Bridge hate reality shows like Love Island and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Oh yes - Cracker ...I loved that and Tales of the Unexpected and the murder mystery with Caroline Quentin in it . Nowadays - loved The Sopranos , Dexter which may be coming back for final finale . The Affair was good and Big Little Lies as my son lives nearby where it was shot and recently Succession which I took ages to get my head around - then hooked . Mainstream - The Real Housewives of Cheshire as it is local to me but so surreal , The Apprentice , Dancing on Ice and skip watching Strictly as only like the dancing . Love Island watched the one with Molly Mae in but will only be bitten once as young people at work watched . Come dine with me , A Place in the Sun ....gosh do I actually get up out of my chair ?
Ha ha I was wondering how you had time to do anything else. I used to be an avid Strictly fan actually got my husband hooked onit but there is now too much repeating of things and silly interviews and not enough dancing. Such a shame that they have spoilt it.x0
Exactly so that's why I record and wind on . trying not to see on social media who has been kicked off .
I used to go to a book club and someone's relative had insider knowledge and she used to tell us who had been voted off which totally spoilt the Sunday programme. I used o try and not hear it but it was difficult as we only met in a small room.x
am also a fan of I Love Lucy - all Lucille Ball stuff. And the old corries, though the story about Kevin and Natalie isnt very riveting or done well.
Morse, To the Manor Born, Porridge, anything about Cricket, Perry Mason, and lots I cannot recall the name of, only tell the stories from, Oh yes, Rising Damp.
I love (as a younger girl) Blue Peter, Grange Hill Then as an adult-Porridge, fools and horses, bless this house, luv thy neighbour, rising damp (some of these wouldn't be allowed now)Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game, Swap Shop,(I was about 15 at the time) The Good Life, Angels (like Casualty) , Dixon of Doc Green, I have to out the old Dr Who - hubby and eldest son love it though Mike is sometimes obsessed with it but he could like a lot worse!! Dave put the old Dr Who film with Peter Cushing in for Mike when he was a little 'en and that was it!! So it's Dave's fault ππ€£ππ€£ anything football related, rugby league, wrestling- Giant Heystacks(spelling) v Big Daddy ππ€£ from today I love , Sherlock Holmes, Bradley and son- Breaking Dad ,comedies, Strictly, Dancing on Ice, The Yorkshire Vet, The Supervet, Hospital, 24 hours in A &E, 999 What's your emergency, Prison docs (hubby works in one as a handyman) One Born Every Minute , Paul O'Grady , For the love of dogs. The Bill. Still anything football related plus rugby league, F1. I do not like The Big Bang Theory!! Black Adder,Spitting Image
Sorry for waffling on, I've probably gone off the beaten track as usual!!!! Xxxxβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ
I like documentaries and Drama. films and factual stuff,
I detest these reality shows which put folk in embarrassing positions in the name of 'entertainment', talent shows with unhelpful judges, and soaps.
Cheers, Midori
