hello so some of you wanted to know more about me so here it is π my name is hiba and I am 17 years old I am American Algerian β€οΈ I go to high school and Iβm a junior my favorite subject is art I speak 2 languages English and Arabic and to be honest Iβm better at English than Arabic I am illiterate at Arabic . i sometimes donβt even understand it I am sort of ashamed about that . I think watercolor is a lot more difficult and messy π well at least to me it is.

I think it is too. I remember thinking the water isn't drying the way it should. It got on the table, the floor, my clothes, everywhere. Lol

Also there's no use for lines in watercolor. I may as well throw paint at a wall with paper on it.π

I do like it here because in algeria where my parents came from they didnβt have a lot of money not good food to eat fruit was super expensive and the homes are ok but then at the same time I donβt like it because of the discrimination that we have in America

Yea it seems like almost half of this country doesnt care about racial justice and religous freedom at all(Unless it's their own religion).It's very sad and disappointing βΉ.

but these events have made me want to change the world in some way I used to be a weak person didnβt care about the worldβs problems until those things kept on happening to people I felt ashamed that I didnβt care and i stated to change
What a lovely introduction Hiba. You shouldn't be ashamed that you aren't very good at Arabic. There are people here in the UK that are say Welsh and do not speak their local Gaelic language. I only speak English but my dad used to speak other languages when he was alive as he was in the Navy. You are definitely very wise for your age and refreshing.
I'm 61, have 2 granddaughters who are 4 and 8 and love fitness, don't think you'd guessed that one LOL πππ. I have been married for 42 years and wouldn't change my situation at all although, like a lot of other people, I'd like to have more time even though I don't work much, I'm an Invigilator in a school but because of the pandemic I haven't been working.
I definitely get the kind and caring from you, that really does show.

Yeah a lot of people have actually said some rude stuff to me and asked if I am a immigrant I honestly am not but my parents are but they are legal β€οΈβ€οΈ have had that asked multiple times

That's great. I was a teacher of drama and theatre in high school before I retired. I produced most of the plays at school. I also made the costumes. I think if I had not been a teacher I would have liked to be a professional costume maker. But my first love was always working with young people.
I speak two languages too... Spanish and English π
