I feel ,asleep on the sofa last night, and woke to see the news was displaying.

To my shock i saw Prue Leith receiving her vaccination and realised it was in OUR health centre,

So it has started.

Made me feel quite emotional and wobbly!

Hopefully this is a sign that progress is being made and we will all be able to go back to some semblance of normalcy very soon 😊

I really hope so. I spoke to my son in South Wales last night and he is very worried about the current situation there. I will not be seeing him at Christmas now. Its not a problem, i much prefer that he stays in his own house in safety.Sopsx

Yes, it's a sacrifice many of us are making this year unfortunately. So fingers crossed that all goes well and you can see your son very soon! 🤞

i hope so too.Its my daughters birthday tomorrow so I shall drive over early in the morning and leave her presents on the doorstep as we cannot meet.

It was her husbands birthday yesterday, and her sons is next week, so I am travelling several times as secret deliverer, having a day off today!

Yes, a lot of 80 yr olds as retirement home capital! At least it is started and they seemed to be coping well with issuing restrictions.Sopsx

Had friends, a big family who lived in Bridgend for many years and we went on rugby club holidays with them ( and the rugby club) took me a month to get over a fortnights holiday. They live in Porthcawl now. My husband went to Bridgend Tech college, and also school there. he had a good friend who kept a pub, I think the Angel? forgive my memory it all seems a long time ago. My boys went to Cardiff uni and the youngest never came home!
