Is it someone you live with, or friends you've made online during isolation?
My Odin and Bella are thick as thieves. They bless me with their yowls and hisses at 1:26am as they tear through my apartment, tackling eachother against walls and wrestling (playfully) to the death... They inspire me with their unbreakable alliance during their daily adventures in 'Christmas Tree Chaos,' which involves Odin being the lookout as Bella rips ornaments off the tree with her teeth and claws... They are quite the team πΈπΈ
Who is your partner in crime?
The ability to reply to this post has been turned off.
Me too! That's why I had to use my cats as an example... it would be weird of me to post about being my own bad influence π
Hi Jas what a good appropriate post lol well I don't think I need to answer who my partner in crime is do you or should I say partners as there are a few on here, and we were discussing it yesterday it's like been silly little kids again, and it's a kind of escapism for us all I guess to get through these hard times hope you have good day jaz and I like your posts, take care xx

You are so sweet! I like your posts too π Did you see my chocolate?
And I was actually thinking of your gang when I was writing this π I think of you all as The B.A.B. (Babes Against Bazzak)
β’ in reply to
Hi yes saw it but I only popped on brief I'll reply later to that I just let pixie out, there's a lot of us on here that are BAB and of you for one I think your extremely intelligent and witty and you write such nice posts, I've not been feeling well lately as you know a lot of stuffs been buulding up at home with various issues not just my dad dying and I had a major melt down yesterday and cried myself to sleep, I am speaking to my niece about things as there's only so much people can do on here, but I have some more posts planned hope you have a good day well I'm confused again it will be night take care xxx

Breathe Mandy, breathe
Thank you for your kind words. But I'm just trying to keep up with the wit and sass of you and your wonderful pals π
I was going to ask why you are up so late, but having to let Pixie out explains it
That breaks my heart to hear you cried yourself to sleep π You're a lovely, kind, wonderful person. You deserve all the happiness in world. I wish I could do more to help, but all I can offer you is my deepest condolences, and my continued support and encouragement.
Take all the time you need to heal. Post when you can, comment when you want... We are all here for you, wishing you good health (mentally, emotionally and physically) and cherishing all the joy you bring us β€οΈ
Have a good night Miss Mandy π

Thanks it's more confusion over our times again it is morning now and I am still confused about your lol my dad died in June was suffering a long time and was a relief but I had surpressed a lot of it, and as most people on here we all got issues with things and yourself with your health, my healths pretty good, it's stuff with my living arrangements once that's sorted my mind will be clear, and I'm not sticking in all day today maby catch you later xx
β’ in reply to
Ah I see. I knew about your dad (and I still can't imagine how hard that must be... π You really are a trooper). I hope your living arrangements get sorted soon so that you can have some piece of mind.
Catch ya later β€οΈ
β’ in reply to
And The B.A.B. can have multiple meanings
Like on the rare occasion that he is being sweet, you all become The Babes Admiring Bazzak π
β’ in reply to
Hi just read your reply to reouika whom I thought was having progress, and I'm sorry you had to break ties with your mother, some times we have no choice,I have always been close but we cannot live together I realise this now, for the 2nd timeβΉοΈand my phone charges running out, what's new lol xx
β’ in reply to
It is such a difficult realization to come to. It seems unnatural and goes against what we are raised to believe. I'm sorry you've had to come to that conclusion π I hope that things work out for the best for you and that you are able to preserve your relationship
β’ in reply to
Thanks it's the only way, we had bad times before we've discussed it and she only lives 27 doors from my house which I am trying to sell and I'll still see her few hours everyday but I need a place to retreat to as 24 7 together and not even going out for a walk for 5 days some weeks it's a miracle we lasted this long have a good night or day on your time I'm relaxing with pixie and TV I doubt I'll be on here too tired and I'm having glass of wine laterπxx
β’ in reply to
10:30am here π And yes, go relax! Enjoy wine and your Pixie π
Whoops...I thought you asked who are 'spirit animal' is...where in the world did "maximum mischief" turn into 'spirit animal'??? Obviously, I'm losing it, big time!!! Today was especially tough.
Johnny, your photos are not appearing, just an empty blank space..... I could be wrong, but I think you can only post a photo at start of post, and not in replies.
Thank you! They used to be well-behaved at night, but my being home for the past few months has completely flipped all of our sleep schedules around... so late night craziness ensues π
I can see that these two are well up for mischief as a duo CJasmin! My absolute partner in crime is a lady I don't see very often. We've been close friends for years from a 'previous' life living in Barbados and we came back to live in the UK around ten years ago. We were neighbours there and shared many adventures together. She's living a distance away from me now, but we mail each other every day, emergencies and some holidays excepted, and we relive our old adventures, plot and share secrets which no-one else ever gets a hint of. If we talked on the phone, it wouldn't be so private so we do that only rarely.
If you ever read Lisa See's 'Snowflower and the Secret Fan', it's a little bit like that! π€«
β’ in reply to
It sounds like you two have one of those rare and special friendships that are so hard to find π I'm so happy that you have eachother
I've been meaning to read 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan'! I keep forgetting to pick it up. It looks amazing. I will have to order it today
It's got to be the Bazzak Baiters on here. It only takes one little thing or mention of Pilking to set me off. Also my brother but I don't get to see him at the moment.
I know how much you adore and care aboutyour brother and he is blessed to have such a loving sister. We hen we were growing up my brother was my best friend. We did so much together. We live quite a long way from each other now but still have a strong bond.
That is awesome! You both sound like a blast and I know you two make a great team π
Growing up, my brother and I were the same way. But my father used to be a very stern, stoic man. However, after a few years of putting up with our shenanigans, he became just as bad as us and would even join in the fun! There were so many days we'd laugh until we cried π
My dad actually didn't even want kids! My parents were married for 10 years before they had me because he thought kids were too big of a responsibility (he wasn't wrong lol). But after I was born, he was the one who got up in the middle of the night anytime I cried. He took me to school every morning, from Kindergarten through High School. He developed a strong sense of humor and resolved to enjoy being a dad π
My dad never laughed when I was little. I had to wear him down π I talked to him constantly and learned about why he acts the way he does. He's still stern with everyone else (people even think he's scary!), but because I built a relationship with him, he's a sweetheart with me
Siren is waiting for the Christmas tree to appear as you can see he is deep in thought about how to destroy it as usual and i get the blame for "Letting him do it".
I get that blame too from my roommate because I "let" my cats destroy the tree (MY tree, btw) and I "let" them jump on counters, etc. etc. What they don't seem to grasp is that you don't "let" a cat do anything... It is a foolish delusion for us humans to assume we have that much power π
thara9643 and I said the same thing about ourselves! We are our own bad influence π
Thank you, they are quite the lookers π And as much as I should be annoyed by their antics, I just can't get angry with them π
That is awesome!! I am always in such awe of people who marry their partner in crime. It means that they have a lifetime of joy and happiness ahead! It makes me hopeful π
I am ashamed to say I had to look up Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer!
It's such a fitting poem though!
Especially:
"They'd go through the house like a hurricane/.../And when you heard a dining room smash, Or up from the pantry there came a loud crash/.../Then the family would say, 'Now which cat was that? It was Mungojerrie or Rumpelteazer. And there's nothing at all to be done about that' And there's nothing at all to be done about that" πΉ I feel so seen! π
And now I know where your kitty gets one of her nicknames πΈ Btw, do you like the name of Bella and Odin's Christmas game? π PM ya in a bit
Awe thanks CJasmin this made me smile! My little ones are the same way. Every morning I am picking up their messππ They are ride or die! Lol! Meet Bonnie and Clyde!
Ohhhhh my goooooodnesssssss π What a pair! They do look like little troublemakers π

AB π SO π LUTE π LY! ππ
β’ in reply to
Just a little side note, I wonder if you give your babies supplement? I found this one called: Vetri DMG Liquid, Endurance and Immune Support is very good. I give my Sonya once a day and she lovesssss it. Keep them healthy and active. If you know anything else, please share π€π
β’ in reply to
A few times a week, I give everyone an immunity boost too- They either get L-lysine mixed in with their food (it doesn't matter the brand or form, whether it's a chew or powder) or Purina "Beyond" broth mixer for immune support πΊ
I can't give them too much variety because Odin has a very sensitive GI system (he's had to have surgery on his stomach in the past), so I keep it simple with mainly canned food and the immunity supplements. Also, Chloe has no teeth due to Feline Stomatitis, so I don't do a lot of kibble or crunchy things. I have unique kids πΉ
Thank you for the heads up on the Vetri DMG Liquid though! I will look into it
β’ in reply to
oh now you make me wanna go and steal your Chloe.... lol j/k and Odin is such a great name with sensitive stomach just like Sonya (I feed the blue Buffalo brand for sensitive stomach) Sure you have the most cute and unique kids ever. Thanx for sharing π€
β’ in reply to
You'll have to get in line πΉ Everyone wants to steal Chloe
Blue Buffalo is great! I actually give Odin the Blue Wilderness chicken recipe for kittens every once in a while. Because he can only eat soft, watered down things in small portions, he is pretty skinny (the fur hides it), so the kitten food gives him a boost in fats and nutrients
Thank you for sharing too!! πΈ
β’ in reply to
Sure Iβll get in line as long as I have a chance π€£ but Sonya might be jealous π j/k That is a great tip, Iβll definitely incorporate that into her diet. Thanx girlie π»π
β’ in reply to
Nahhh Chloe doesn't even hiss and she is very patient when she is hissed at, so they would be friends πΈπΈ
