Absolutely adore it. Which type I choose depends on my mood etc. Ultimate favourite has to have Cadbury's Dairy Milk as the main ingredient. I think it's because that was what I grew up with. ππΈ
85% dark chocolate. I like the sharpness of its flavor and itβs good for you!
Agreed 85% Dark for me too.
Is that your beautiful cat? Such a pretty picture!
Oh, my! Poor you! What do you indulge in instead?π€πΈ
Absolutely! White chocolate's my favourite. Brands? I love the Belgian brand Leonidas. Only as a treat cos they're very expensive. We went to Bruges for hubby's 60th. Chocolate heavenπ€©
I love milk chocolate and I am addicted to it I love it so much πβΊοΈ
Yum! ππΈ
milk chocolate with the almonds. I love the crunch. And crunch bar too
I donβt like white chocolate but love milk and dark chocolate. I eat a bit most days if Iβm honest
Strangely Iβve never found food to affect my migraines but saying that I donβt eat any when I have one as I lose my appetite with them. Back to a new neurologist in January as Iβve tried everything the previous one recommended. If I had to give it up I would though. I expect you probably feel better not having any or a reduction in attacks?
I love milk chocolate and there is always some in the house. I am addicted to it.
Love chocolate, Lindt or galaxy caramel, milk chocolate for me.
I haven't eaten chocolate for 20 plus years now. Migraine.
is that chocolate?
No I don't now. I did at first but I honestly think that you can get used to anything.
never heard of that chocolate Jerry, its rare I eat any myself - prefer savoury things but if I do like milk with fruit and nuts or caramel or whatever
I like milk chocolate but I have to be in the mood for it. I have to be careful though as I have some lactose (I think) intolerance. xx
Good morning I love your posts I don't eat much chocolate and I can have a tin of Xmas chocs in for months when my favourites are gone the hazlenut praline green triangle one is my favourite, chocolate I am partial to milky bar big buttons I do find it hard to stop eating them I do also like the combi of white and milk or white and dark I'd say may favourite milk choc is nestled I find cadburys nice but sickly π
That's interesting Jerry is this bar from a health shop only my fav choc is the green hazlenut praline triangle that is found in a tin of quality street but yes theyre all too sweet is the bar you mean similar to this π
Used to love chocolate but developed weird reaction to itβ-even smallest amount makes me feel dizzy after a few minutes, lose my balance , become shaky and generally feel spaced out. Later comes the awful headache. Coffee has always had this effect ( started with instant coffee and then ground/filtered coffee affected me the same) Could feel stoned on half a cup of coffee. Possibly something to do with enzymes, not breaking down the substances sufficiently.
Has to be plain for me. Have a bit (or sometimes a bit more than a bit ) most days. Feeling so bad these days, with pretty much no relief. Can't take tablets for side effects ; in pain all the time, plus all other negative symptoms, with fibro. Caring for DH with dementia and several other medical problems, plus he is almost 82 and can hardly walk, So, although I am aware than diet can play it's part, not always for the good, it is a trade off. Pretty much only pleasure now comes from eating what I fancy, so I am sticking to the mantra ' a little of what you fancy does you good', whether it is true or not. Moving on, I know this will cause controversy , but I am going to say it anyway. Something to debate, maybe. Almost 12 years ago I gave up smoking, and up until then I coped fairly well with fibro. and had no major problems with my anxiety, In fact I lived a near normal life, considering there has been quite a few traumas to deal with over the years. Since then I have gone gradually downhill, until now I a pretty much a mental wreck and not great physically either. I do sometimes wonder if it was worth it. My dad smoked all his life from 15. Died at sixty, was a lovely man; was always happy, very active, and never had a days illness. My mum lived to 97, was extremely deaf and had severe arthritis. To be fair she too was 'a cup half full'. So, who can judge. Look at where we are now, smoker or non smoker, Eat chocolate or not. Eat 5 a day or not Covid doesn't distinguish, so I say do whatever it takes to get you through each day or gives you pleasure, none of knows what tomorrow may bring. Here endeth the lesson! Stay safe everyone.
Thanks Jerry ππpixie said he will order you one for Xmas lol π±
And pixie doesn't eat chocolate so it won't be just the wrapper you'll get lol πΌ
I don't mind what kind wiserlady, so long as it keeps coming! π
Lindt bars. Any type but I try not to look at them when in a shop.
Lindt Salted Caramel! π
It gave you migraines. Do you still get them after raw peppers or something else? If not, you might find you can now eat chocolate. Here's hoping.
All kinds of dark chocolate or pretty much any kind of chocolate with nuts in. Keep it in the fridge - out of sight: out of mind and it's firm and cold when you take it out. Yum.
Not too keen, chocolate doesnβt taste the same these days. But when I do, I like the Lindt white chocolate balls π Rather have toffee πππππ
You've forgotten how good it tastes!
I don't get them anymore, but then it was never established that chocolate was a trigger for me. Pity there's no way you can find out without eating it.
I prefer dark chocolate to milk.
My migraines resolved after the menopause.
Iβve been told that by the first neurologist but tbh Iβm not taking anything for granted. It would be great if it does happen but just need to wait and see
Milk chocolate, Galaxy being my favourite followed by Cadbury's dairy milk
I love milk chocolate because it is so creamy and melts in your mouth. And to be honest, I especially love when I get Canadian/British chocolate instead of the local American chocolate...American is too sweet and not as creamy!!
I prefer Dark chocolate . The flavor is stronger, tastier, and the sugar level is lower. This is the almost only chocolate I use for baking.
Hi wiserlady, just a little late reply. I like most chocolate but prefer milky types as sometimes dark chocolate can be bitter.
I like dark chocolate best but I will eat all the chocolate. I love chocolate.
Old Jamaica bournville mmmm
Chocolate used to give me asthma attacks a tiny piece of chocolate Thankfully not anymore π
