Alan curled up in my lap at lunch all 20 pounds of him! He is quite a lap full isn’t he. He was pouting because our resident chickens keep eating his cat food. He really looks like he’s starving doesn’t he. Lol

Aww he’s so adorable
Morning although it's still night 🌜🛌for some pixie woke up then had 5 of his biscuits then sleep and I'm awake, it's so strange how they manage to stay asleep even though there nearly falling off pixie often lays like that last time he was weighed by vet he was 5.3 vet said he is a big muscular cat hence dad was Bengal and he is strong vet said he's ok but don't let him get any fatter he has got bigger, your Alan looks very big and cuddly I must say 🌜🛌😻
We used to have a black and white that was originally a farm moggy who was like Alan in his markings!
Well Alan is kind of a farm might too isn’t he! It would be much duller without him.
Moggy. I hate auto correct!
So Alan is a working cat then?
Yes he is our mouser and a good one at that. Mice and chipmunks are bad news in a greenhouse!
Wow, he looks a big cat, very lovely.😊👍
Now there's a chunky and beautiful boy Spinner1916! He's really occupying your lap to the fullest there isn't he, and all we cat lovers know that you mustn't move a muscle until the sleeping beauties are ready to move! 😺
Very true. Later he wanted to ride in the golf cart with me.
So you have 2 cats and chickens then as pets?
Alan is our greenhouse cat where I work. The chickens are there as organic bug catchers as we are pesticide free. My cat is Angie a rather imperious fluff all who would never tolerate competition from any other animal.
Angie sounds like a tortie version of our spoilt ginger tabby Baby who needs to be an only cat as she is spoilt!
Is Angie your poorly cat? How is she getting on?
She’s doing better. Her kidney problem is in it’s very early stage and she will eat the special food. They have found her major problem is Ibd. She is going in for an endoscopic biopsy in a couple of weeks at a specialist. Our vet wants to determine what she is reacting to so we can counter it. She probably have to take prednisone for a while to calm it down. Her whole digestive system is inflamed. I’m just glad I’ve found a vet who takes me seriously and really wants to help her!
That's good to hear that she's doing better; I'm pleased for her and you. Hopefully the special diet will help keep the kidney problem under control.
Hope all goes well with the biopsy. I'll be thinking of you and Angie.
Alan looks absolutely adorable. I've got a black and white girlie as well as a tabby girlie - both sound asleep.
Aww, bless him. He looks like a cat we had when I was quite young, his name was Tinker (Tink for short). Also, not many years ago, we had a Border Collie X who used to sleep on my lap like that - I really miss that. x
He sure is comfortable but you may not be LOL
🤣🤣🤣 you’re right but what can you do when he’s snuggled and purring!
There is nothing you can do at all LOL.🤣🤣😂
Yes he mock chases them too. I think it’s a big game for them as they aren’t the least bit afraid of each other.
