Last Sunday was our Ruby wedding anniversary, 40 wonderful years. We weren't able to celebrate as we wanted with friends and family but we had a superb day courtesy of our bubble friends who made the day so special.

Thanks Jerry, we had a lovely, well planned and very safe day. Visits to a local wildlife art gallery where we bought a beautiful picture of Highland cattle (we love cattle and Highlands in particular), then we had a ruby themed picnic at a medieval village before a good walk. The evening was taken up with a beautifully planned dinner, starting with pink champagne and ending with a very special cake.

It has been so disappointing in some way or another for so many of us this year, in not being able to celebrate so many happy events in the way we'd have liked, but great to hear that you've been stoic and managed to make the best you could in this strange way of life we are currently going through. 🙏🥂🍾

What you can control is how you behave towards these things when things don't go to plan.
I think everyone has been disappointed one way or another this year with their plans being disrupted in all kinds of ways and disappointment is a sign that tells you what you are interested in and what's important to you.
