This afternoon I had to go to the breast care centre for a mammogram
Little bit apprehensive but needn't have worried, the centre is in its own building away from the main body of the hospital
Got there about 3.15 for a 3.30 appt so sat outside for a short while, when I went in they had sanitiser on a small table in front of the reception desk, waiting room seats were spaced apart, I was called in on time and out of the building by 3.40, now just the wait for the results

That’s good to know. I’ve just had a letter asking me to make an appointment for one. They used to do them in the maternity wing but have set up the mobile truck in the car park. I’m on the vulnerable list and their letter says to let them know when I book the appointment, although it sounds from their letter that they have got sensible precautions in place already.
Good luck with the results Jennymary, I also had a hospital appointment yesterday and was impressed with the organisation and strict regulations in place. 👍👍🌷
Great to have overcome your apprehension and got this done Jennymary. There's no point in dodging covid19 if something equally or more serious gets us instead. It all seemed to go quite smoothly. I hope that your result shows nothing abnormal!
Good luck with your results. I had mine done a month ago and the hospital was brilliant. Only 2 of us there and I was called in straight away. I was out within 10 minutes and my results were clear. Thank goodness. Always apprehensive opening the letter though. All the best x
Don't know if you are in UK, but frankly I am finding hospital appointments are now much more reassuring. I had been used to cleanliness in European hospitals, and frankly ours left a lot to be desired. But Covid precautions has meant they are much cleaner.
