That's not a problem but if you look at your post to cf, you'll see it says Veteran250 in reply to springcross - you need to click in the Reply box under cf's post. It also means that I get an email saying you've posted to me when you've actually meant it for cf, but as I said, it's not a problem but just thought I should let you know.

Hope all will go well for you! Make notes of everything!

I Saw a dermatologist recently-face to face!!(what about GP's doing same)?

When I mentioned irritation of skin - and I'm on Anagrelide for my ET was told could be the drugs ? but he doesn't know anything about them!!?

Afterwards I spoke to a GP about something else and asked why we can't see a GP face to face -he said because of the virus!(I did mention seeing the Dermat man which was 'face to face'! ) It is ridiculous-GP's don't want to see anybody but want to get pay rise! (Talk of striking)!!!??

in reply to Ratton726

Thank you and yes I certainly will.

Fortunately my doctor will see you face to face, it's not all on the phone.

I'm not on any drugs so he/she won't be able to blame drugs. Apparently I have thickening of the skin and was told my skin is complicated. The doctor took a sample before lockdown.

I'm so fortunate that I have a good GP practice.

I had Bowens disease in the 1990's-back of my calf muscle! Treated with chemo cream-and has been good ever since!

I have problems with nerve endings under skin!

Which can be treated with tablets? (tried them felt awful-)!

Hope yours will go with treatment?

Very best wishes

in reply to Ratton726

in reply to

I did ring the hospital and asked when I would be seen and they said to go and see my doctor as they'd need to write a letter to the hospital to expidiate my appointment, it worked.

I really do hope you get your appointment sorted very soon.

Thinking of you.πŸ™πŸžπŸŒˆ

Sorry to be a wet blanket but that has really upset me. Had an horrendous year with health problems, culminating with me finally , after being told for two years the scab on my head was excema, asking for further testing. Within a day of seeing a different doctor, I was photographed and informed I needed I biopsy.. On enquiring how long wait was was told 28 weeks. Already being a chronic state of anxiety through other problems, I said I didn't want to wait and would go private. Which I have done. Within two weeks, had consultation, and biopsy but still awaiting results. Just a small matter of costing me well over Β£1000 so far. I have already been told it is cancer, so out to be rally bad news, what next???

in reply to ShelWhitt

Honestly do not apologise at all. I'm so so sorry you have been through so much and had to pay for then to find out it is serious, you definitely shouldn't have been kept waiting, that's awful.

I really am keeping everything crossed for you that they now do something.

Take care

Thank you once again, Alicia. Will keep in touch. Am leaning towards surgery, but have been given the option of creams. Not sure yet. Anyone had experiences of either I would be pleased to hear your verdicts.

I am so sorry having had two kinds of cancer myself-I know how you must feel!

(Still have Blood cancer)!

You should write a letter of complaint to your Practice Manager at GP surgery re: your cancer diagnosis (expensive)! If GP's did proper job-you would have had quicker diagnosis-you also have to be pushy with receptionists at surgeries! (I am quite pushy)-!!

Again make notes before writing!

Stress just makes things feel worse-you need to get things out in the open!

Do let us know how things work out.

Many good wishes-be well.

Thank you for your good wishes. Had good new today. 'Biopsy showed that cancer is treatable, so that is the next hurdle!xx

That is great!! I go to a demotologist and it takes about 2 to 3 months to get in. I've been diagnosed with melanoma. Get them cut out but go twice a year for check ups. Will go in sooner if I find a spot in between time. Good luck!!

I have heard of this light treatment for psoriasis sufferers. It is definitely the more natural way to go :) . My friend used the drugs which lowers the immune system, and has other side effects. I wonder how many treatments you will have to have, I guess it is according to how severe the condition is. I hope/pray you will get an appointment, and relief ASAP. :)

in reply to RLN-overcomer

Thank you, much appreciated. I've heard of the treatment before for psoriasis. They say I'll need 2 treatments a week for 10 weeks.πŸ™πŸ˜ŠπŸŒˆ
