Hi Vet. You've replied to me not cf.
I followed everyone elses good luck wishes?
That's not a problem but if you look at your post to cf, you'll see it says Veteran250 in reply to springcross - you need to click in the Reply box under cf's post. It also means that I get an email saying you've posted to me when you've actually meant it for cf, but as I said, it's not a problem but just thought I should let you know.
Good luck with your hospital appointment, i hope it goes well
Thank youππ
Brilliant. Make the most of it. Write down everything you want to ask so you don't forget anything.
Thank you Sheila, yes I have got a lot going round in my head so I will jot it down.πππ
Thank you Don, much appreciated πππ
Hope all will go well for you! Make notes of everything!
I Saw a dermatologist recently-face to face!!(what about GP's doing same)?
When I mentioned irritation of skin - and I'm on Anagrelide for my ET was told could be the drugs ? but he doesn't know anything about them!!?
Afterwards I spoke to a GP about something else and asked why we can't see a GP face to face -he said because of the virus!(I did mention seeing the Dermat man which was 'face to face'! ) It is ridiculous-GP's don't want to see anybody but want to get pay rise! (Talk of striking)!!!??
Thank you and yes I certainly will.
Fortunately my doctor will see you face to face, it's not all on the phone.
I'm not on any drugs so he/she won't be able to blame drugs. Apparently I have thickening of the skin and was told my skin is complicated. The doctor took a sample before lockdown.
I'm so fortunate that I have a good GP practice.

Hello maby I'll get mine then waiting follow up on leg cancer not malignant check up after a cemo cream they gave me i rang when my follow up was due about 5 weeks ago said specialist on leave and appointments for next6 weeks at least booked up, I went to doctors waited 3 weeks for him to see me he said looks like it's ok but need another spot checking with rough part on it he said tell specialist when go he said ring up but I can't get through, he said put the cream on the new spot, my friends sister's husband died due to waiting to be seen to after a stroke he waited a hour he went partially blind then died in the night after he went to hospital only 61, what skin problem do you have hope you get it sorted mine is called Bowens disease but is easily treated if not gone too deep takes years to get bad had mine over a year π΄
I had Bowens disease in the 1990's-back of my calf muscle! Treated with chemo cream-and has been good ever since!
I have problems with nerve endings under skin!
Which can be treated with tablets? (tried them felt awful-)!
Hope yours will go with treatment?
Very best wishes
Good morning thank you for reply it's smooth now but pale red big circle like a tiny old 5p well bit smaller the new one is small brown with rough on it I'll chase hospital up and put the cream on the new one have a good day π€
I did ring the hospital and asked when I would be seen and they said to go and see my doctor as they'd need to write a letter to the hospital to expidiate my appointment, it worked.
I really do hope you get your appointment sorted very soon.
Thinking of you.πππ
Thank you π€
Take careπ€π
Thatβs Great!!! I had to wait 2 months for an appointment with my primary doctor. Iβve been told that because of the virus that doctors werenβt seeing patients, so they been backed up. I hope everything goes well for You? ππ·
Thank you. I saw my doctor again about two weeks before I went away,I even back now a week so not bad at all.ππ
Thatβs great news Alicia I hope you can get it sorted. Once and for all.
That Asyra Test sorted me out. Completely cleared up after two years. Think itβs been gone for 3 complete weeks now, canβt believe it. Good luck On Monday x
That's brilliant news for you Ali and thank you for mentioning what test you had.
You must feel so relieved.
Alicia xxπ±πππ
Still can't believe it! I am relieved and surprised it sorted it. Good luck with your appt x
I bet you are relieved, itchy skin is awful. xx
Sorry to be a wet blanket but that has really upset me. Had an horrendous year with health problems, culminating with me finally , after being told for two years the scab on my head was excema, asking for further testing. Within a day of seeing a different doctor, I was photographed and informed I needed I biopsy.. On enquiring how long wait was was told 28 weeks. Already being a chronic state of anxiety through other problems, I said I didn't want to wait and would go private. Which I have done. Within two weeks, had consultation, and biopsy but still awaiting results. Just a small matter of costing me well over Β£1000 so far. I have already been told it is cancer, so out to be rally bad news, what next???
Honestly do not apologise at all. I'm so so sorry you have been through so much and had to pay for then to find out it is serious, you definitely shouldn't have been kept waiting, that's awful.
I really am keeping everything crossed for you that they now do something.
Take care

Thank you Alicia. Had results today. Next stop deciding on treatment. xx
Thinking of you and I really am wishing you the very best of luck with the treatment that you have.
I would love to be kept updated on how you get on.
Take care xxπ€ππ
Thank you once again, Alicia. Will keep in touch. Am leaning towards surgery, but have been given the option of creams. Not sure yet. Anyone had experiences of either I would be pleased to hear your verdicts.
I am so sorry having had two kinds of cancer myself-I know how you must feel!
(Still have Blood cancer)!
You should write a letter of complaint to your Practice Manager at GP surgery re: your cancer diagnosis (expensive)! If GP's did proper job-you would have had quicker diagnosis-you also have to be pushy with receptionists at surgeries! (I am quite pushy)-!!
Again make notes before writing!
Stress just makes things feel worse-you need to get things out in the open!
Do let us know how things work out.
Many good wishes-be well.

That is great!! I go to a demotologist and it takes about 2 to 3 months to get in. I've been diagnosed with melanoma. Get them cut out but go twice a year for check ups. Will go in sooner if I find a spot in between time. Good luck!!
Thank you,I'm so glad I've got the appointment.ππ
That's great hope it goes well.
Thank you πππ
Thank you Jerry.πππ
good luck !!! persistence pays off
Thank you and couldn't agree more πππ
If you want to keep us updated
I certainly will and thank you.πππ
okey dokey
Greetings : I hope pray the Dermatologist will find the solution to your skin problem
Thank you. He diagnosed me with Senile Pruritus and has put me on the waiting list for photo therapy, apparently it's really good.ππ
I have heard of this light treatment for psoriasis sufferers. It is definitely the more natural way to go . My friend used the drugs which lowers the immune system, and has other side effects. I wonder how many treatments you will have to have, I guess it is according to how severe the condition is. I hope/pray you will get an appointment, and relief ASAP.
Thank you, much appreciated. I've heard of the treatment before for psoriasis. They say I'll need 2 treatments a week for 10 weeks.πππ
