I hope you’re all keeping well, I’m looking forward to reading all your posts after being away from here for a month. I took a month off everything to try and de stress and recuperate mentally and physically. Lots of pressure from all sort of avenues was causing my mental and physical health to rapidly decline. I’m pleased to say day by day things have got better as I’m counting all the things to feel blessed for. Even small things can make a big difference. I’ve started a part time job- a few hours a day and it gets me out and concentrating on something other than my personal issues. I’ve been spending more time with my friend who is terminally ill and now she’s closer to home, I can go more often. I’ve started to realise how important true self care is- and doing things for your own pleasure without needing permission with our inner demons- gives a great relief and peace in the soul. Here’s my favourite vase - frida Kahlo- another thing I’m doing which is new, is buying myself flowers often and not feeling like it’s an extravagance- something I used to feel. Sending you all lots of love. Peace. Dalia 🙏🏽☺️🌸

Hi Dalia, pleased to hear you're in a better place. Congratulations on the new job! It isn't an extravagance at all to treat yourself to something nice, you are worth it. Keep on being kind to yourself 😘
Lovely to have you back, nice to read that you've found a part time job, you're so right about getting out and about when you can and leave your problems at home, and yes, self care is important to help us deal with life's little problems, love the vase and flowers, x

Surrounding yourself with beauty is never a waste of money! Especially flowers.

Hi Dalia74, glad to see you round and about again and even more glad that you've had a restart and are feeling so much better. What an absolutely charming picture!
The vase is unusual, I really like it. I am glad you are feeling much better and are in a better place. It is good news about your part time job. Your friend must be happy seeing you also. The flowers are pretty. Welcome back. 🌈🌸🌺
I’m so pleased you are feeling better and you have learnt some valuable lessons. I learnt these things when I looked after a lovely lady who was 98. You have to make your life nice for you and treat yourself well and everything else falls into place. I love those flowers x
Even in the most challenging times we have to look at the blessings.and positive additions in our lives. We are in control of how much joy we have in our lives. I know there are people who need medications, and counseling, or both, but outside of this we do control our own happiness.
