So we are at our property in the Sierra Foothills. Good for bike riding, cheese, beer, high country hikes, fishing, birding, and more.
I was outside working on a boat when this fawn ran up and tried to nurse.
Pretty young and starving. Fortunately there is an animal rescue place nearby where we dropped him off for care.
I guess something happened to the mom but he will be well cared for and released.
