I have managed during lockdown to dodge the evil virus. However my eye deteriorated a bit and i was seen at eye casualty in the midst of the lockdown. I also had to have another 2 injections my fifteenth and sixteenth. It is now more stable. I am very grateful to the North Middlesex university teaching hospital for their excellent care. And in spite of the initial set back I was able to have my allocated exercise daily and to manage shopping for foodstuff. I hope Eyesright and all the other past regular contributors are all ok.

Pleased to hear that you've been managing OK ohlewis. I know how vital those eye injections are so I'm glad you got those.
Hi tottloh. I don't know if you realise that you have not posted in the Macular Society forum.
Good that you have been coping and have received such excellent care from the hospital during the lockdown. 🌸🌼
I had an appointment with the eye specialist who did both our cataract operations several years ago. Unfortunately, this was in March just as lockdown came in and I had to postpone.
I was referred by the Opticians who for the last four years have been saying “wear and tear” whenever I have said this eye is not as good as the other.
Last time it failed on the peripheral vision test.
Does anyone have any advice for me? Thank you to all on this splendid group.
That's really good to hear that you coped and managed to get good care during this horrible time.
Take good care 🌈
