Unless you happen to be Irish, subtle racism it might be, but racism none the less!

How is it racism?

Im from Northern Ireland by the way, I want you to explain how this is racist?

• in reply to

Racist aspect is that that this joke could have been any farmer of any nationality! Why Irish?

• in reply to

Because this is how a lot of Irish people get on..

I'm watching an Irish movie right now called "Maze". It is hard to understand the accents.

My dad's parents came over from Kerry county so I'm half Irish. Irish jokes don't bother me. Actually, I don't get offended easily. To each their own...

I am 3/4 Irish and I agree some of these Irish jokes are racist but I don’t think this is. Also think about the intention of the person here who sent it. It wasn’t to offend anyone.

Explain your comment please..

Absolutely, we're all entitled to equality and equal respect! Just can't understand the concept of a certain nationality accepting being made fun of just because it's expected of them! My last comment as well.

If a person doesn't have a problem with a joke about its own nationality then what's the problem, can't you laugh at yourself Malmal? If I had of said the joke about people from a different country but mine then I'd understand your problem.

In pubs over here people take the pee out of themselves continuously it's just part of the craic and the banter.

The Irish jokes normally make out the Irish person to be thick but this one doesn’t. I’m not offended. I’ve just sent it to my Dad!
