I just want to say that I am glad to be here on this health social network and apart of this group. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned or worried about contracting Covid-19. So this site is definitely the right place for me during these difficult times.

Welcome to the community. You are not alone as we all have fears of catching the virus, It has been a very worrying time but hopefully we are seeing numbers decreasing and people are working very hard researching a vaccine so there is a lot of hope there. There is lot's going on within the community and you will always find someone has posted something you can join in with and of course you can put your own post's up. π
Yes, avoiding the virus sounds like a good plan. Cases are spiking in the US and there is talk of another lock down in California where we are.
Hi healthierme2020,
Glad to make your acquaintance, and welcome to the community!
It's much better to be worried about covid19 and make yourself safe than not to and put yourself in more danger of catching it. We try to help in any way we can, so just pitch in with your posts and enjoy your time here. ππ
Morning healthierme2020. Yes i think we're all in the same boat. Half the year wasted And its flaring up again because of the irresponsible idiots who go out demonstrating in groups Welcome to the group Plenty of chat and advice here. Enjoy and take care Brian
I'm just guessing here, but it seems like the reason Covid-19 exists is because it's forcing us to change things, not just in our own personal lives, but in general society. I don't want to say that catching Covid-19 is a good thing, because it's NOT, no one wants it, (at least most people don't), but in a way, it's a good thing this disease is affecting us, not just in a bad way but a good way as well. I know it's very difficult even for me, but yes we all need to stay positive, and do positive things to help each other out. On another note, I'm very disappointed to say that mental health services, which was greatly funded recently, is going down the tubes here where I live, very sad and disappointing, but guess that's life! Nice to hear from all of you here! I hope I can make some friends here as well, I definitely need some!
