Became ill and gradually got worse, doctors kept insisting it was irritable bowel syndrome, which ignored many of the symptoms. nausea, vomiting, not able to eat, feeling ice cold to the point of having to stay in bed most of the time, a lot of pain stomach and back. I had to stop work, stop doing chores and housework, and all the rest, not up to it, in too much pain and discomfort and often only up to laying around in bed. Eventually blood tests revealed I need to go to gynocology urgently for an ultra sound and it could be cancer, monday is the day for that. They have to do it within 14 days total when its like that. Of course time has already passed so its become my lifestyle now. My guy is doing all the housework, chores, shopping etc - I find it very hard to eat at all, so I woudlnt care if he did it at all for my own sake. But its hard when he also has to go to work all day and is trying to do everything.
HOpe everyone else is coping well here with the virus and all the stuff that goes with it.

Oh dear wiserlady, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that the ultrasound goes well and that it's not what you're fearing but something easily sorted and that you're feeling better in no time. All the best.
You will be so worried but things may not be as bad as you suspect. My thoughts are with you and I hope the scan goes well and the outcome is good.Best wishes.
the blood tests were arranged because i was in such pain and discomfort and could not work etc - hiatus hernia would give very different symptoms - many have no symptoms - and often its because of being overweight, which im not, ive been totally unable to work and barely able to move because in a lot of pain, very different - ive also lost a great deal of weight because its so hard to eat and keep anything down - im very pleased its all fine with her
they re looking for specific things with me due to the symptoms and blood test results so it cant be something like thqt - the symptoms and blood test say its different and serioius.
HiI am sorry you are in a bad way. I do hope everything comes back ok. Take care and stay safe
Lots of love and hugs Lynne xxxx β€οΈπβ€οΈπ
i understand, but its still very different to not being able to eat, losing a lot of weight, having to stay in bed all of the time, not being able to work and all the rest. they they do blood tests to see what this points too, then they know what department to send the person to and have a very good idea of what is wrong before they even go there. i was amazed when they said it was urgent, because it might be cancer, with so many people waiting ages to go to hospital now. my brother in law - who is in his 60s - had a hiatus hernia he was still working and all the rest. he still went on holiday etc. for pain they give you painkillers, but they also decide if its urgent or not.
MMM. Years ago my partner became ill, too ill to work, very worried about his business, money , feeling terrible and bed ridden. I took care of him., because I am qualified in naturopathy when the doctor told him he needed his gallbladder out i pointed out there was another alternative. He decided to try that and then if necessary go to the doctor and get the gallbladder removed. We went down that route instead and he got better without it being removed. That was years ago and he has never had another problem with it, b ecause he stuck to the nturopathic way. we know people who had their gallbladder out and then regretted it. But of course thts not something which is serious and maybe fatal.
Also been thinking about you since I read your post.Wishing you all the luck in the world today.Been through the experience of scans, biopsies and waiting for results with my son,so I feel for you.Ours was a good outcome in the end.
