Hi guys. I'm new to this group. I'm shielding at the moment and live in Scotland. It will be announced tomorrow if we are allowed out for exercise. I don't know about yous but I'm climbing the wall not being able to get out. I understand why and haven't been out but some days I think I'm loosing my mind

Hope your all well and how are you all managing to cope?

Have a good day

Hi Sallyb29,

Yes, I think most of us can empathise with how you are feeling, especially now, when for some, rules are relaxed, whereas if you are shielding the end still seems a long way off. I feel for you, but it's good that you are keeping sight of how important it is to see it through. Just keep telling yourself that your turn is going to come, and try not to be disappointed if that moment isn't right now.

I'm lucky, as, although I'm over 70 i didn't need shielding although I have been ultra careful as my husband's had to work throughout.

I hope that the need to remain at home will end for everyone fairly soon and meantime best wishes with your efforts to stay positive. Take care. 🙏

Morning Sallyb29, hello and welcome I am also new to this site. I fully feel were you are just now, it has been such a long haul up until now, but we all need to keep safe. Fingers crossed it will not be too much longer before you will be able to step out into the world again, in the meantime please try and keep positive. I know that can be easier said than done. On my bad days I could just scream, no one to hear me though as I live alone!! We have all done so well getting through this so far, not much longer and we all will be able to get out soon. You are not alone Sallyb29, keep strong, keep smiling and tomorrow will be a better day ( as we were told by Captain Tom). Take care and hang on in there!!!

Hi guys. Thanks for all your lovely comments. At last we can go for a walk I can't explain how it felt just getting out the house with fresh air on my face. I'm still cautious but I do hope we can keep this virus at bay and we don't have to go back the way. This is such a lovely site. I'm so grateful to be able to view my thoughts thanks to all that replied
