I'm so pleased you had a lovely day out with your family. Your photos are fantastic as usual but the day must have by more special spending it with family.
I can't wait to get together with everyone, hopefully mid August. Our youngest Ian said he thinks we should wait until at least then in case things go belly up and we have to cancel at the last minute like Mother's Day in march, we would all be more disappointed if we had to cancel. Ian starts back in work on Sunday after shielding and he said he is worried about me because I'm so high risk, catching anything off him. I'm also itching to give them all the biggest hugs ever, they have been warned!!! I can wait another couple of weeks. , just 😉 sorry, I've gone off in a tangent again!! I think you should all know what I'm like by now 😂

Ian is right to think like that, it's much harder to cancel. Oh I feel exactly the same with hugs. Some so lovely for you to look forward to.

I bet that was a right disappointment when you were looking forward to mothers day only to have it cancelled at the last minute!
Pop it in the diary in pencil for now just in case things get cancelled which is what we did in regard to our lunch out in the pub on Monday saying how should it be cancelled it won't be the end of the world!

I know Dartmoor well, from my Childhood, we often stayed at a Guesthouse near Torquey- as children we even called it 'Auntie Susan's'. Yes many a day spent on the Moor, happy carefree days, lovely memories. Hope you enjoyed your visit Alicia.
