Well I've just spoken to the universal credit lady and seems I may get abit of money but not much find it highly unfair that I moved in with my mum yet I normally pay her rent but as I'm her daughter they won't allow rent and how anyone is supposed to live on SSP is beyond me especially when I got this illness through been a career in my job!
But hey ho hopefully I'll be back soon enough I just crave normal completing mums hygiene ragieme is annoying she's above and beyond ""just so""in the house and constantly getting at me if I forget to place a towel back god forbid in the wrong place!!!
I just laugh to myself tbh!
Have a good day peepsx

Oh no poor you. Are you self employed or working? You should be able to apply for a self employed grant or being paid my your employer. Sorry if I’m stating the obvious x
I'm so sorry for you and wish I could help. I must say though, where your mum's concerned you seem to cope very well.
I really hope there is something for you.
I am employed I've applied for UC been told about a hundred per month maybe it's stuff as I caught this virus via no fault of my own in my job so unfair 😥
Hi Picklepickle,
Has your mum been assessed for Care needs by social services? The whole topic is complicated if you are in receipt of Universal Credit, and it would probably be a good idea once things are more normal, to get in touch with Citizens Advice Bureau and have them take a look at your finances and situation, to see which would be the best benefits to claim to help you both. If you don't have a local branch (and lots of places don't now), you can get advice via their website at: citizensadvice.org.uk
Thanks but she really is ok usually just the broken foot ATM!
