Hi everyone I'm just asking is it normal for the assessors to call you bk after the assignment a few days later to answer more questions . The thing I dont understand is I rang pip DwP up asking if they received my medical report and they said yes and its with the decision person ,so I was happy with that they said it would be at least 8 weeks to get a decision rought ly . But 3 days after I had a call bk from the lady who did the assesment asking me more questions ? . So apparently my bits are not on the system and I cant get a copy of the heath assesment until it is or am I being fobbed off by either of them ? N have my forms been sent bk at all n who has them still I'm getting mixed messages hear . Any 1 have the same issue s xx

Might be the same department or a different department in PIP assessment team. I had a PIP assessment before COVID-19 and then called me to double check something so they called me. Unfortunately I didn't get PIP.

I did not bother as I would not got it on appeal as I did not qualify for it at the time
Thank you , yes I just wait now for decision as I hate bugging them for answers they cant reply to or say different things I'm sure they dont know what there doing or saying half the time and reading off a script tbh . Thank you for your time replying to me be safe x
Hi Wolf22140, I don't have any inside information as to the process, but I would say not to imagine that you are being 'fobbed off'. If more questions have been asked, it's because there are gaps in your claim that need to be completed, before your claim can be fully considered and the assessor is trying to do that by contacting you. If you are being asked for a report which you can't at present provide, for whatever reason, then it might be that your claim cannot be fully processed until this is provided. I hope that helps.

No they said it's not on the systems yet and once the decision is made by the decision makers only then am I allowed the report by the health professions . X

I think it because of the lock down, I just had one as mine was up for renewal, I know it sounds a bit like an MOT but I think I have screwed mine as I sounded far too happy! Basically I think like everything they are trying to keep departments running. I am glad in a way to hear that I am not the only one. Hopefully yours and mine will be okay. xx
Well tbh I'm not holding much hope , the day of the assesment I was tiered hadn't had my meds yet as they called me up saying some 1 else was going to do it now which was fine but I was booked in 11.45 some 1 called at 945 saying in the nx 20 mins a lady will call you for the assesment if it's not ok we will have to book you in a later date , so yes I was prepared for the original assesment time but not the other 1 not even had nothing to eat n bang for a hour n 41 mins being quizzed . N then being called bk 2 days later or 3 cant remember now but that was at 9 in the morning to be asked more questions . Been 8 days now since but glad it's over. Let me know when ur results are bk fingers crossed for you . Be safe n look after u x
I promise I will let you know, but if for some reason in either of our cases it does go against us then we can appeal, as name me one person through the last 3 months that has stayed completely sane!
Very true hun I've been up n down like a yo yo in bed out bed dont know what day it is woke up thinking its morning but it 7 at night body clock buggered bad headaches n migraine forgot where I was ect so yer sums it up realy . Keep in touch hun be safe x

I did say I would let you know as I just received a letter that says yes until 2023 when I will have to do the whole thing all over again, but I can't deny that for now I am happy! xx

I really want you to let me know how you get on, I was dreading another interview and the forms are beyond my writing ability so I got my best friend to do them for me.
What I would like and I have signed more than one petition is for any of us that does have a condition that there is no cure to not have to do this at all!
I sort of have a life but nothing like it used to be, but I don't really want to keep trying to explain it.

Same I had help by my friend she wrote a whole essay n medical evidence in n out of hospital neurology n gynecology reports hospital stays n opperation n discharge n meds it's so long winded . Some ppl cant get help or take them questions in like me I dont understand things big words my brain is not working anymore like normal ppl ,so I totally understand where you are coming from bless ya , soon as I know anything I be strait on hear with a reply .
