Today I entered an online art show competition

I have entered local shows but Covid 19 has made less likely the kind of impulse buys that allowed me to sell a few pieces over the years. I'm not expecting to win but I'm doing something different, which is a theme for dealing with the isolation.

I've also tried watching Netflix with friends via "Netflix party", mini book clubs with a couple girlfriends from work, and some free online classes (everything from a Johns Hopkins covid tracing class and a "self compassion" training to a couple history and literature classes.

Because I was already more isolated than I liked before this happened, I decided to create a list of resources and a list of people to check in with to see if it would help. It does. It's not always perfectly easy, but it does.
