Still here.....

Yes, I’ve been isolating since March 13th due to my underlying health issues. I’m now getting a bit fed up. I miss my family more than anything, especially my 7 year old grandson. We do facetime but I just miss a hug sooooo much. I’m usually ok on my own but when it’s enforced it’s worse cos you don’t have a choice. However, I just thank God that I’m still alive and so is my family. So many people have lost loved ones and when I think of them it jolts me back to reality. It won’t last forever.....🙋🏻‍♀️🥰🥰

Hello Sue, yes it’s hard at times, but thankfully we have the internet, as you say , it won’t be forever. Take care .

Hi there, I agree we can all have our low day's but being thankful we are well and our families are safe soon put's everything back into perspective. It won't last for ever, so thinking of that can help keep us thinking ahead with a positive attitude. 😊🌷

Hi, We've been indoors for one week longer than you and I have found the last week more difficult. It does not help knowing that we don't have a confirmed end date.

We are also missing our grandsons. They live four hours away so we don't see them weekly but would have seen them for two weekends in the last ten weeks. It's very sad.

Last week we sent them both 'button hugs' I don't know if you've seen them but the boys were both happy with them.

Try to keep smiling and stay safe and well.

Button hugs? That sounds lovely. How do you do those?

They are actually called Little Pocket Hugs and are the size of a large button.

I bought mine off ebay and they will send them direct to any address for you.

You can also have a little personal message on the 'button' Cost less than £3.00

and that includes postage. They made our grandsons smile and they have them in their pockets to squeeze when they want a hug. Take care.

Dear sue32,

Yes I know EXACTLY what you mean.... I live in Supported Living so, at least, the Staff do 'knock' regularly..... Ok it's when I'm in (on) the Loo, or in the Shower, or at that 'Critical' bit of Cooking......🙄. However, as you say, this Won't be Forever and it WILL end🙏.

I last saw my Mother, on Mother's Day, I just had to visit her Flat and, instead of the Meal 'Out' that we planned, it was two 'Micro Wave' ones. Still I got to give her a, very lovely, card and a 'Trinket Clock'.... it is in the form of a Cottage, about four/ five inches high, and has, on the Front a recessed Clock. I bought it at the Charity Shop, that supports our local Theatre. (The only, slight problem, that I had was.... replacing the dam Battery- I had the Battery, THAT wasn't the Issue😡🥵🤬.)

So yes, here we ALL are Sue, 'Muddling' along as best we can- have You finally Finished 'that' Jigsaw? Maybe watched the Film(s), that Series, Those Sketches.... Thought so! I bet that you have Connected the 'Outside' Lights, put the Skirting Board back on, Repaired the Light, Fixed/ Oiled the lock(s), removed the 'unsightly' Stain, cut down the roses...… If, like me, you might even have 'Fixed' the clock😊- NOT my Mum's one MY one.

All the 'Washing' is Brilliant White, it's NOT Supposed to be, but 2,000 'washes' later.... You have read, every single Magazine, Paper, Joke book- yes even 'that' one- and Pull Out/ Supplement you can Find, maybe sixteen times. Despite, seemingly 'Millions' of attempts, you Still can't Master 'Coq Au Vin.'🤦‍♂️

Didn't, your Neighbour promise you the Morse Box Set? Maybe give 'Jeff' a call? Didn't 'Janet' offer you some Trial Perfumes.... way back in 1974?🤔 Didn't you say 'you'd Get Back to her'🤗.

I'm certain that, your Grandson, Love You 'Loads' Grandma (or is it Nanny, Nana, Granny, Gran-mama, Gan-Gan... Apparently what Princess Eugenie used to call the queen.). Tell him the Story, of the Three Little Pigs but Make it an 'Epic'.... Three 'episodes' a week, for six weeks! (That will 'tax' your imagination!) Maybe write a Poem.... or an 'Adult' story (not 'That' sort!). Maybe 'Tidy' the shed or, worse still David's Garage--- It will take you The MONTHS to get back out!🥴

Whatever you do, TRY to enjoy it Sue.... Fondest wishes

Oh Andrew......that really has made me laugh.....😆😆😆😆 especially the ‘white’ laundry......😂😂

Yesterday I moved my kitchen around but I’m gonna have to move it back to the way it was cos I keep forgetting where everything is!!!!! I keep looking around my lounge and my bedroom to visualise ‘if I moved that there.....’ then realise that the wardrobe won’t actually fit there.....🤔

Thank you soooo much for cheering me up....keep safe...
