Good morning everyone,
Today's quotation comes again from a Buddhist source and is pretty short and sweet. It concerns inner peace and how that can change our perspective on the whole of living.
"When you make peace with yourself, you make peace with the world." —Maha Ghosananda (1913-2007)
When we can calm our thoughts we become more peaceful, and interact with the rest of the world more peacefully. We learn to live more easily with our frustrations and troubles, and if those around us are doing the same thing, there is far less conflict.
(Maha Ghosananda was a very revered Cambodian Buddhist monk in the Theravadin tradition)
