What's anyone done today

I've had a quiet day, put the ironing away, and walked to the shops and picked up a couple of things, otherwise just had TV on all day but not really watching it, may pop to the garage tomorrow as they had the cones out today, but not much happening here today

Do you like ironing? I used to not buy things that needed ironing but now I’ve accumulated a few linen shirts so have to iron them. Which I don’t enjoy.

Today my son visited which is good. He comes over once a week. Especially if I tell him I’ve made a cake! I’ve done some water colour painting this afternoon and went for a lovely walk.

My partner Phil plays the trombone and he practices every evening about 5pm playing along to a backing track and I love it. So he plays that and I cook the dinner 🤔 tonight I made curry, dhal and saag aloo.

I also spoke to my mum to make sure they are okay which they are and emailed a friend I’ve enjoyed today and I hope you’ve enjoyed your day too? 🙂 Ali

Hi Jennymary ,

It's nice to hear that you had a chance to get the ironing put away and that you got to take a walk outside to the shops. I'm glad that the weather was nice for that today.

For my day, I had breakfast and lunch, went on the computer and my phone, did texting and e-mails, took an on-line training for my job that's once a month, did some replies on HU, messages on HU and just relaxing. I plan to do some reading before dinner and bedtime, create a few postings and watch some TV after dinner.

Have a good evening now, Jenny. :-)

I too saw my son today. He cycled over and we had a chat in the car park of our flats then he went off to see his sister. As we usually don’t see him for months as he travels all over the world on business c-19 has its good points. Second time we’ve seen him plus a video call once a week. Oh and I walked to the bottle bank to get rid of the evidence. 😂

Glad you got out to the shops. Quiet days can be good to recharge your batteries. Hope you manage to get to the garage tomorrow.

I've been out on a bike ride and did some cooking and baking.

Have a nice relaxing evening.

Alicia😊

I only iron about once a month 🤭😳 I detest ironing and tend to buy clothes that don’t need ironing after washing. When I do iron the few bits I have to I usually feel very proud of myself lol.
