Quotation for Wednesday 29th April 2020

Good morning everyone,

A new poll in the Positive Wellbeing community asks 'What is the first thing that you will you do when the lockdown is over?' (Have you voted yet?) I suppose that it's no surprise that out in front by a long way is meeting up with family and friends.

And with that in mind, today I've chosen the words of Patrick Hawes' 'Quanta Qualia'. I hope it will help us all wait patiently. It sums up longing, in only a few words.

First in Latin and then the English translation:

'Anima mea

mane!

Quanta Qualia'

conventus gaudia

erunt.'

'OH MY SOUL

WAIT

HOW GREAT AND HOW WONDERFUL

THE MOMENT OF MEETING

WILL BE'

Here's a link to the original sung version.

Hoping you all have an enjoyable day.🙏

What words and so very true and this is how I've been feeling since this all started. Friends and family are very important.

Thank you for posting.

This captures exactly how I am feeling, the music and picture are so emotive. It's comforting to know these are feelings shared - thank you so much for another positive and supportive post Callendersgal :)x
