Another lovely ride today, just a shade over 22 miles. I took a few photos, as well as a selfie, I dont normally take selfies๐.
Hope you like the countryside.

what a beautiful day for a bike ride! well done very inspiring. looks like a gorgeous place to go for a ride.
It really was a beautiful day. Yes I live by the coast, I'm making the most of it๐๐ดโโ๏ธ
Hi Alicia, Lovely to see this amazing person who is good with a camera and great on her bike! Well done yet again!
๐๐โ๐๐
Aww thank you, yes I thought I'd take a selfie and it worked ha ha๐๐๐ดโโ๏ธ
Oh my life Alicia! How long does it take to cycle that far?
If I hadn't had stopped to speak to my yoga teacher's hubby and then pop in and see my friend from a distance then probably around a couple of hours.๐๐ดโโ๏ธ
Well done you !
Aww thank you๐
We got rid of our bikes as the immediate roads near here are so busy but of course now it would have been ideal! ๐
You've got to be very careful on the roads, you take your life in your hand. Funny enough the roads are starting to get busier again here, don't know what's happening.๐ค
Lovely countryside. So peaceful. I don't do selfies either ๐
Thank you, the countryside has been beautiful. No selfies aren't anything normally.๐๐๐ดโโ๏ธ
Thank you Jerry, I really did enjoy it today, the weather was stunning. Well you set a trend Jerry by taking a selfie of yourself the other day๐๐๐๐ดโโ๏ธ๐
Wish I could ride my bike. Just another thing I love that MS took from me. ๐คฌ
I'm so sorry to hear that, I really feel for you. I'm making the most of it as you could easily start to slow down when you get older but I'm keeping going whilst I can.
I used to ride around 109 miles, 3 times a week. Now, I have lost my balance and canโt walk without limping or looking like I am drunk! Lol
Aww bless you, that's awful, I really do feel for you.
I live in the country in Texas. Lots of road to safely ride.
I hope you are getting g to enjoy the countryside in a way you can๐
Thank you.
It's actually an app in my phone, it uses Google maps.๐๐ดโโ๏ธ๐
It was fabulous, I really enjoyed it. The ride wasn't all in the country but I could ride quite a distance on country roads as the countryside is all around me. I agree, it'll be good when we can travel further.๐ดโโ๏ธ
You are welcome ๐
Ah you dont mean that surely not๐คฃ๐คฃ
Well that sounds perfect to me and why not, you don't have to worry about neighbours๐
The Countryside is beautiful and you have taken a great selfie. xx
Beautiful pics and a good distance I couldn't do 2!!!!
Thank you, I really enjoy it. It's what you can do not how far you can go. We are all different, with different capabilities
Yes very true though I can't even sit on a saddle!!!! I chipped the end of my coccyx in my accident all those years ago so instead of tucking under mine sticks out so saddle a no no
Ooh ouch, that sounds very painful. You do what you can, that's what counts.๐
Yes it was at time and if sit on a saddle also now I've lost weight sitting on it more!!!! Typical don't want to loose it off bum but have and not going off tummy as much!!!!
Typical, weight always disappears where you don't want it goo!!
Yep sods law
Yes 'sods law's definitely exists๐
It definitely does here!!!!
Quite and you can bet when we are allowed more freedom it'll flipping rain๐
Well I'm sure someone will walk your way in the future
Good on you Alice. the pics are fab, IT TAKES A VIRUS TO MAKE US REALISE BEAUTY AROUND US...SAD, BUT TRUE.i HATE BIKES, and cycling, perhaps stationary. cannot ride if I wanted, exercising though NOT ON A BIKE. and dangerous with cars...enjoy empty streets.
Thank you. I do love my bike. I always cycle on tracks whenever there is one and always take the safest routes possible. It does sometimes take something like this to realise what we have got.
too true it does, hope you wear a helmet, full of potholes.the roads till you get out to nature.
Yes I certainly do as you will see from my photo above, I'm proud to wear a helmet and people that don't are silly. The roads are in a very bad way but I'm noticing that during this lockdown they are starting to fill some in where I live
You look strong, and healthy. lady warrior. I am what my family calls a health , and wellness advocate. I am getting ready to get an interval/custom workout in. You have motivated me. I am missing my sunshine D3. I have to up my supplement dosage, unless I buy a sun light lamp.
Aww thank you, appreciate your kind words.
Interval workouts are good and hard as well. I used to have an exercise bike and did interval training on it but have to say it wasn't my favourite, I'd rather be outdoors but needs must.
I'll be on my bike again today.
I keep thinking whether to buy a sunlight lamp as I do get a bit of SAD in the late Autumn/Winter, I'm definitely a Spring/Summer person.๐๐๐ป๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ
Yessss I am missing my natural God given D3 sunshine. My moderate to severe allergies have made it best for me to work out indoors. Years ago I turned one of my bedrooms into a fully equipped exercise room : Padded floor, mirrors, treadmill, weight bench, stepper, and other smaller exercise equipment. I love the beach where I could soak up GOD's natural D3 ,where there I don't have those allergy issues. Time for another workout. Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, for you, and me too.
I really feel for you not being able to go out, it sucks when the weather is good. I love what you've done indoors though, that's excellent.
I hope you can get to the beach soon.
Have a good workout.๐
