Hand somewhat of a hard time yesterday with my anxiety so decided to make myself some comfort food for dinner. Made Bubble and Squeak with leftover cabbage and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! I’d forgotten how much I like this simple dish. It’s right up there with Mac and cheese when you’re upset. I think I’m taking in too much covid related media so will cut back. Listening to Easter choral music on radio right now. Will stream Easter services from my church shortly. Have a blessed Easter and stay safe all!

Oh yes, Spinner 1916, bubble & squeak is delicious! Please do think of cutting back on some of your COVID-19 media programs if it's affecting your mood. Media does glory in putting forth the gloomiest possible view and then compounds the misery by making more and more programs. Of course we need to heed warnings and take on board new information, but I don't think we need quite as much programming as we are getting. I hope that hearing your Easter service will help to calm and sustain you. Be blessed too. Take care and Happy Easter. 🌺

I have just sent 4 cans of Branston Baked Beans to a friend in Scotland, she can no longer find them, now in isolation and no "list" as here. Feels she cannot get her friend to search every shop in a 40 mile radius!! Her comfort food, Baked Beans and Cumberland sausages.
