I have been sitting in my garden and noticed the lack of contrails in the sky.
Where I live, they are usually criss crossing the sky all day.
Also this morning when cleaning my car, I was being watched by a woodpecker happily sitting on a telegraph pole opposite my house. His loud pecking alerted me to watch in awe.

I've heard others say things like this about these times. Literally a silver lining to this challenging situation. I saw a quote that said something like, the only real failure in these times would be to hope that all we need to do is go back to the way things were. That's a paraphrase. The environmental relief seems like a reminder about that.
I think when this has blown over life will change myself.
It's fairly well documented that contrails do contribute to both air pollution and global warming, so it's a small blessing to know that the earth is getting a bit of a 'breather' Woodpeckers are just fascinating aren't they. And can be very loud! 🐥
Oh how I hope one good thing to come out of this world pandemic would be the possibility that we all realize this could be our wake-up call to save our planet! We can't go back to the WAY IT WAS! We may not have another chance.
