Apologies if this quote has already been shared, but I heard it on a podcast while taking my walk in the sun this morning and thought it was a great quote to live by in these uncertain times:
“Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
I hope everyone is able to have a great day today.

What a Lovely thought, though maybe Certain 'Things' Might be worth remembering....
Someone 'promised' to do your Shopping, for you, and you have run Out of Food. 'Jackie' is still at her Friend's House (perhaps not now). The Water WILL be 'turned off', if you don't 'Speak' to the Bank. Talking, of which, your Brand New Plants need watering. If you don't DO some Washing soon, you won't have Anything to wear.... You must get that Meat, out the Freezer. Ok you're NOT actually 'using' the Car But..... That Smoke, every time, you turn the ignition..... The Continuous 'Smell Of Gas' near the Cooker...… These Sorts of 'things', ARE maybe better Remembered?
Another 'Lovely thought, this time from my First Love- a very long time ago....
Love was put in the Heart, to Stay,
Love isn't love, until you give it Away.
One that I have 'Quoted' elsewhere.... A man is standing, at his front door, in a Full Length Dress, complete with Handbag and Shoes. He is pointing at a piece, of paper, and saying "This 'Invitation' clearly sates Evening Dress...."😀.
