I have received a video from a PHD, RN that I have not yet figured out how to share on this site, but it advocates for EVERYONE to wear a mask period! It protects the wearer and also the person you meet, where ever! The premise of the video is "You protect me from yourself, and I protect you from myself." It is a video made by a Czech citizen and doctors, where they have the lowest number of transmissions of Covid19! Their people have been wearing masks, homemade masks, since the beginning of this virus! We have not! Tell everyone you know to wear a mask every time they go out of their home! One more thing, look for pictures of people in 1918, they were probably wearing masks! It's interesting to me that this virus is exactly 100 years later than that horrible world wide pandemic, which killed many in my husband's family. God's blessings to everyone on this Palm Sunday.

How right you are why have we not got this on the media etc!! I have been in 3 weeks now and in for the duration know what I am going to use make my own have to go to g.p in 4 weeks for a B12 injection I need. They have every thing in place one person no gathering taking no chances how do I know the nurse has not seen someone before me has it. Thank you I will pass that on!! Keep safe xxx
I can’t wear a mask as I can’t breathe with it on. Most experts suggest masks do not stop us catching the virus. The only masks suitable are what Medics wear in hospitals and you won’t get one of those anywhere.
I have just read a report on a study done by Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital, where they ran tests scientifically, to see which of the homemade masks were the most effective, since they considered they might have to use that type, if they ran short. They found that "quilter's cotton" in batik or other high thread count cotton, especially with the addition of a flannel insert protected best (3 layers). This type of mask did a better job than the thin, flimsy mask that is the normal mask being used in most normal medical areas. See report at the following: newsroom.wakehealth.edu/New...
