Maybe a Little 'Ironic' but still....

Dear All,

Amongst my, fairly considerable, DVD collection I have that wonderful Patrick McGoohan series... The Prisoner! I'm Re- watching it, I 'Wonder What' gave me THAT inspiration?

Actually it IS a good series, which I bought a few years back (eBay, where else). It concerns a Secret Service Operative- McGoohan- who resigns, for reasons that are not clear. He is Kidnapped and taken to 'The Village', a rather sinister place, where they try to extract 'Information'. All VERY good, well though out & intriguing Episodes- with a VERY unexpected ending. Although I have 'Seen It' before, I shall still enjoy it- I'm sure. Rather like watching Morse, which I have as well.

This and a few Other 'Things' will, I'm sure, keep me occupied.... Take care, of yourselves, everyone- stay Well.

Thank you, you too.

I like a wide variety going from Disney to true events in the concentration camps in the war as I feel this should not be forgotten so it never happens again.

Take care and stay safe Lynne

I, very much, agree Lynne- I have the 'Diary Of Anne Frank', for much the same reason.

I have it also, I often watch the world war 1 and 2 program's people's suffering and what they did for us to be able to live in a free society now. We will be eternally grateful. ☺☺☺

Yes, I do world war one programmes too. The Battle of the Somme must have been horrendous, you can't imagine it, can you. These are the things that make me eternally grateful and realize how lucky I am today. Lest we forget xxxx

I can't imagine it Lynne, how frightening it would have been for them and the horrors they saw and all young lads its so terribly sad. The conditions and equipment that had was diabolical and most died agonising deaths. We are so lucky. ☺☺☺

It was a very cool program in its time. Remember, we are not a number. we cannot be controlled or brain washed. At least until the lockdown is over anyway. 😁😁😁

The government is busy making big white balls as we speak. According to Matt Hancock they will be rolled out next week.

Dear Troilus,

Did you know that these were, in actual fact, Meteorological Balloons... I just Loved that 'See-Saw Thing' in the Control Room. If They made one, 'at least two metres long', we could ALL have a 'Go'😊.

They had, a while ago now, a 'Poll' of Fictional Things that, different age groups, wanted invented. Whilst, most men, wanted The Flying Car- from Flubber- and girls wanted the Instant Nail Varnish- from Total Recall. Teenagers, wherever they lived ALL wanted 'Marty's' Flying Skateboard- from Back To The Future. Personally I want, one of those, 'Replicators'- from Star Trek Voyager- make any Food, or Drink, I could imagine... yes THAT would suit me😄😄😄.
