Kasar, hooligan of this parish, loud complainer, head of the household, glutton and mischief maker.
He's six years old and is a brown spotted Bengal. We have our fallouts as nothing is safe from his clutches. He can hear my craft or sewing boxes opening from 100 paces and is into them in a flash, causing mayhem.
He has a strange desire to play with thread or hair and if not watched carefully and dissuaded, will sit behind my head and chew my hair.
He needs to let everyone know (noisily) when he needs to poop, yowling and running around like a maniac. He's been checked for any physical causes but my vet (who is scared to death of him) has concluded it's 'behavioural'.
Anyone want a cat? Only joking, we love him really!

Love him!! He is adorable! You’re description is so awesome also. Cats, they really run our lives and we let them cuz they are just so cute!!
Oh that's really tough for your household Zoonie. I am so sorry for the plight of those people caught up in the pension age debacle. Maybe you'll be able to review your decision on a Bengal at some time in the future, but they are an expense luxury!
Hah, yes Lisa11171, I guess you know that quotation that 'dogs have owners and cats have staff'!
I probably have the biggest water pistol in the world Jerry, and need to be armed and dangerous with that around him sometimes! But when he's being cute and cuddly (on his terms of course), I am completely in love!
Sounds like another version of our spoilt ginger tabby baby!

Haha, catgirl1976
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is so long-suffering at the mercy of the cat!
You know what Zoonie, you are absolutely right and rescued cats make adorable pets. I've had many 'moggies' over the years and loved them all, and cried buckets when they died. It might really fulfil your longing for a pet to do that.
